Also equipped with comfortable high quality cork split grips with no fore grip, Powell’s exclusive C-Guides and proprietary reel seats, these rods exhibit the comfort and features necessary to help you win. If you’re looking for responsive power, economy, and all out ruggedness, there is only one clear choice - the Powell Diesel Casting Rods.

The Powell Diesel Rod Series is not covered under any type of warranty.**

**Keith Bryan, president of Powell Rods explains: “Many rods on the market today will easily cost the consumer $80 or more to be replaced under warranty when the warranty fee, shipping costs, and packaging materials are factored in. If breakage should occur, replacing a Diesel Rod will be faster and cost about the same, or even less money than going through a lengthy warranty process. Not offering a warranty also allowed us to really turn up the performance of this rod series to far exceed competitors" offerings in the same price category. If folks desire a warranty, the popular Max and Endurance rod lines are still covered."

Comments: I have the 7'6" mh. I used it for the first time to throw big thumper spinner baits with a Keitech as a trailer. This thing is a monster. Plenty of action to launch huge casts & the back bone to bring in the big bronze backs. 10 out of 10

Comments: I have the 7ft 6in rod & its amazing I use it for punching, frogs & jigs & its amazing it's definitely worth more than $80 it's comparable to a $150-$200 rod & if your a beginner looking for a good rod or on a budget then this is the rod for you

From: John: CA 8/24/16

Comments: I have the 7ft 6in rod & its probably the best you can by for 80 bucks because it's worth a lot more I would compare it to a $200 rod if you looking for a frogin or a jig rod Evan top water it perfect

From: John: USA 8/24/16

Comments: The 765 is a great frogging rod at a great price. I fish the Cal Delta & can use it for flippin & pitching along with punching.

From: Michael: CA 7/14/16

Comments: For the money you can't beat it. I have fished this rod for 3 seasons & has always been my go to. Super sensitive & decently light weight. Great rod!!

From: Chris: OH 6/29/16

Comments: I bought this rod about 3 years ago, I have fished with it probably more than 100 times. Let me tell you this rod is a great rod for the value. I'm on a budget since I'm currently in college so I was looking for something good on this price range. I didn't break a guide until this year which is my 3rd year with it! I fished from the bank, on a boat. This rod is sensitive and pretty light for the price! Good friend of mine Bam Miller just replaced all the guides no because I needed but just because I wanted to have fresh guides for tournaments coming up! If you are on a budget and are looking for a decent rod, give them a try!

Comments: Unbelievable rod for the money. I wanted a cheap cranking rod and got the 705. Blown away, great quality for the price. Will buy more in future. Super light and sensitive.

Comments: My 765 is a BATTLE AXE. I like it with braid and a topshot. I use it for T rig, Rats, Spooks, Frogs, huddleston 68's, ect.  Would also be good for umbrella rig c rig and Jigs too. A little tip heavy but i slapped a rod but cap on the back with a couple quarters in there for weight and it balances nice now. PRetty sensitive very affordable I think its a good buy.

From: JT: CA 3/21/15

Comments: I got the 705 CB and for a 80 dollar rod it's one of my favorites. I recently upgraded all my rods to either loomis or st croix and couldnt put this one to the side. I use it for a jerkbait rod and it is sweet! It's not a wet noodle like other glass rods I've used and it is probably the lightest rod I own. If you get this rod you won't regret it.

From: Dalton: GA 3/15/15

Comments: rod is definitely not worth the money. You can feel the reel seat flexing on 12" fish. I mean really flexing, to where you're concerned reel will pop out of the seat. Line guides seem to be durable, but real seat is junk. Selling mine for sure, bought two 7'2" rods and one 7 footer and 2 spinning rods in the diesel line. Do not even think you're going to fish tournaments with them.

Comments: 723CEF- best blade rod out. You may not believe me but it's truth. Great for buzz baits and chatter baits too. The price is right. Try it. Fishes worms and jigs well also, making it a super killer value. No, I'm not on Powell staff. I mostly use Loomis rods, so when I tell you this is a good rod, it's no lie.

From: Jay6: USA 9/21/14

Comments: I got the 7,6 , one word BROOMSTICK but a great rod for frogging flipping i can throw a 8" spro bbz1 the butt is kinda short for throwing a big bait a long time but it works definitely worth $60 to bad i paid $79 when it wasn't on sale.

From: Mason: Graham, WA 8/29/14

Comments: Update- I've been fishing with the 7'2" MH rod all season now. I love the action for casting jigs and even for riping lipless crankbaits thru grass but it stared to fall aprt on me a week ago. First, the bait keepr popped out of the wrapping and then the real seat adjuster came aprt. the black plastic part came apart formt he metallic looking plastic part. NOw I know why they didn't warranty it; shoddy parts. I had to jam a thin o peice of rubber in the stationary reel seat to hold the reel tight. It works fine otherwise. I'm just waitng for some of the guides to fail. Oh well, whaddya expect for $60.
