Delivering the non-compromising performance and exceptional angler value that has made Powell a leader in rod building for over 100 years, the Powell Endurance Flipping Series Rods offer technique specific actions and tapers perfectly suited to flipping and pitching applications. Powell’s Maxim Fiber Blank technology furnishes the crisp actions, perfectly balanced feel, and head-turning power you need for flipping and pitching, and the special blend of graphite fibers also helps reduce weight without sacrificing strength.
Smaller, specially designed Fuji Alconite Guides provide many of the advantages of micro guides, including reduced friction, increased accuracy, and heightened sensitivity, but they are still large enough to allow knots and debris to pass through with no problems. A premium Fuji Reel Seat also provides a sturdy, lightweight base of operations, and split grip handles with high quality cork grips deliver all-day ergonomic comfort. Featuring a signature deep purple water spot design along the lower portion of the blank, the Powell Endurance Flipping Rods offer advanced performance with a cutting-edge look that can keep up.

Comments: I have the 775 and loving it. Compare the 775 to my 766 dobyn champion, I pick the Powell over it any day. Feel a lot better when palming. A little softer tip and can easily detect the smallest bite. Well balance and always get my lure to the desire spot. Fish the 775 for about 8 months now (today 8-21-14) and it is an awesome rod. Caught my personal best at that time casting out war eagle jigs at 7lb 14 in march. In July I pulled in out a 8lb 14oz (new personal best) on a spro poppin frog. Got it paired with the lews bb1 pro and it's a beast of a set up. Caught plenty of top water stripers also. Must have rod.

Comments: I got the 764 and absolutely love it. I was afraid it would be too tippy but its not at all. Extremely light and well balanced. Very sensitive. The perfect light cover flipping rod. I paired it with a Daiwa Tatula type r and i'm in love. If your ob the fence about getting one of these, don't be. You wont regret it.

Comments: These rods are very well built and very comfortable. I own a few of them. For the price I couldn't be happier and also they handle some monster bass and striper I have caught. Keep up the good rod Powell! You guys are doing a great job!

Comments: I would like to see Powell change the way the rod secures the reel down , instead of just that screw cap I would like to see a screw 3inch cork on it instead , after fishing long tournaments that screw cap tends to loosen up I think with the cork it will stay tight longer

Comments: Just got my rod friday. 764. Wow. that product video does not lie! Great for cover and open water casting. Plus, you can flip or pitch anything, anywhere, and even go up to a 3oz weight. Get one.

Comments: I own 7 Powell rods and let me say that they are amazing. Down in south Louisiana I fish for trout and reds and drive 10 minutes and go catch bass. I have two 764's for trout and the 775 for reds. Couldn't go with a different company because I love these rods so much that I use them for saltwater applications!!
Comments: The 764 has become my all-around rod. Texas rigs, spinnerbaits, etc. It's light, balanced and sensitive. Feels like butter when you stick a good fish. You're in total control.
From: Erik: Bakersfield, Ca
Comments: The blank is awesome and the smaller guides are great but the rod is noticeably bit tip heavy. A long day of fishing with this could get tiring. I unfortunately returned mine because I felt tip heavy and pitching/flipping 8+ hours, 3 times a week will tire me out.

Comments: Started using the 775 as my main football jig rod, and it has boosted my confidence a ton. No more worrying about so-so hooksets or losing control of strong fish at the boat.

Comments: Love this rod. Wrote a review about it. http://fishstrong.com/gearstrong-powell-endurance-775flip/

Comments: I used this once as a carolina rig rod, and now use it specifically for that application. Casts a rig a country mile. Long for good hook set at distance. I can feel everything, very sensitive. Great Jig/Flip/Rig rod. Powell has great bang for your buck. Prefer the feel to my GLX's.

Comments: I own the 775 and 764. I cannot believe how light both rods are. The 764 is perfect for flipping, pitching and casting plastics. The 775 is the best jig rod I have ever owned period! Don't let the medium and medium/heavy fool you. Think of it more as a medium flipping stick not casting rod. All though, these rods are so light that I use them as casting and flipping rods. They are spec'd on a flipping rod scale.

Comments: Excellent flipping rods. I have the 775 and when you hook a fish in the thick stuff you are in total control from start to finish. Amazing rods.

Comments: Bought this rod after watching the video. Thing about a Powell rod, you can feel the quality in your hand, long before your 1st cast. Totally satisfied. Balanced perfectly! reasonibly priced for a flipping stick of this caliber. Feels like a $400.00 rod. The Endurance rods are the real deal :)

Comments: I've been using The 775mh for about a month now and its really impressive. I've used it for punching on the delta and jigs in the lakes. The balance on this rod is perfect.
