Commemorating 100 years in rod building, Powell has released their Endurance Series Spinning Rods. The Series bears distinctive deep purple water spot patterns along the lower portion of each blank, yielding an attractive, cutting-edge design that remains consistent with Powell’s traditional clean look and feel.
Smaller, specially designed Fuji Alconite Guides offer similar attributes to micro guides, facilitating longer casts, improved casting accuracy, and heightened sensitivity - and they are still large enough to allow most knots and debris to pass through uninhibited. Powell’s Maxim Fiber Blank technology also provides the crisp actions, perfectly balanced feel, and head-turning power that have made Powell rods so popular and effective, and the special blend of graphite fibers also helps reduce weight without sacrificing strength. Premium Fuji Reel Seats offer a sturdy lightweight base for your reel, and split grip handles with premium cork grips ensure all day ergonomic comfort. Offering a winning blend of performance and value, the Powell Endurance Spinning Rods are in a league of their own.

Comments: I have 16 Powell rods, pretty much every Endurance and several Inferno. They are awesome. They perform great every time. No breaks, no bends. Best rods I have ever owned and I have had most every brand out there. Can't wait for the new line.

Comments: Bought the 7'1" Med/Hvy and its by far the best spinning rod I've ever used. Best rod for dropping baits into trees and around heavy cover. Has a great backbone for pulling fish out of those heavy cover situations. I plan on buying many more!

Comments: bought the 7'1" med lt. In the first 10 min of use, throwing a 1/4 oz grub, rod broke in half on a cast 2 foot from the tip.

Comments: The light action rod is the bomb for light braid rigs used for slow rolling paddle tail baits along the bottom. Upped my club torney performance last year with that combo.

Comments: I bought the 712 ML last year. I use it for wacky and fluke style baits. For the money it's a great stick. Has the sensitivity I wanted and the backbone to land big fish. Biggest so far was a 6 pounder using 4 pound test. I like the light action as it allows me to fish light line with no worries. Also have the Max 732 ML. Great rods. Powell rocks!!

Comments: I've purchased three of these Powell Endurance rods now and have had no complaints. The more I use them the more I find myself leaving other rods in the locker. As far as the quality of the rods I'd put it right up top in my book.

Comments: Just snap the tip where the bend is on the ex-fast. I have a mh 7ft rod and I was throwing a jerk bait in 1/2 size and the top half just snapped. I guess to much pressure on rod top and not good enough material to cover the ex-fast taper. What they need is make some fast taper.

Comments: These rods are not worth the price in my opinion, Better off with a loomis, croix or dobyns. These spinning rods are not in that league for $170

Comments: Got the Powell Endurance Spinning Rod 7'1" Med Lt for Shaky Head. Loved the feel and can feel the bottom with 1/8 oz. this is a must !
Comments: The 6101 Endurance series has a little more tip over the 703 MEF & the 733 MEF for longer cast but also a little more backbone to pull fish from under docks & heavy cover. This has become my go to spinning rod for any thing 3/16 oz or lighter or the Spro BBZ 2 fer rigs.

Comments: I have the ML paired with a Stradic CI4 2500 and L paired with a Stradic CI4 1000. Truly outstanding rods, very light and sensitive but with plenty of power when needed.
Replaced my Kistler Magnesium and St. Croix Legend Tournaments with these, the Powell Endurance is superior.

Comments: Got the 6'10 mmedium spinning rod. The sensitivity is awesome with10lb braid with a 8lb fluro leader. Lightweight with perfect control. Get one and you will not be disappointed. Best rods out there!
From: Thomas: Sylacauga, AL
Comments: Just got my new spinning rod. Just by the look of it you can tell that it is a quality rod. Haven't had the chance to test it out on the water yet but I know I won't be disappointed. Great job Powell!
