Designed to extract the biggest bass from the thickest matted vegetation, the Power Tackle Grass Mat Special Casting Rod, like all Power Tackle rods, is made with the finest, cutting-edge components. Unlike most flipping sticks, however, the GrassMat Special does not sacrifice sensitivity for power. Field tested and refined on Lake Amistad, the rod has an impressive range of features that make certain all bites will be detected, and that even the largest fish can be forced from the thick stuff with ease.

A blank-thru Fuji ACS reel seat provides maximum access to the blank for increased vibration detection, while also forming a strong base for your reel even under the heaviest loads. Impressively lightweight as well at just 5.3-ounces, the Power Tackle Grassmat Special is equipped with a split-grip handle design for reduced weight and increased leverage. Recoil Guides also deliver maximum strength and durability for wrestling big bass, and EVA foam grips provide increased comfort. Designed for today's new style of extreme power fishing, the Power Tackle Grassmat Special Casting Rod delivers top-notch performance.

Power Tackle Rods are covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty, terms and conditions apply

Comments: The Grassmat Special in both the 7'3" and the 7'6" is an awesome stick . Powerful sensative great parabolic bend once hooked you don't lose many fish at all due to the rods bend. I have caught well over 200 bass out of the mats this past year on the Grassmat Special and I can truely tell you that I havent lost more than 10 once hooked. I stopped carrying my net I swing em in the boat. These rods are well worth the money spent . Hand built , quality components, great finish you don't have to worry about your rod.
