Power Tackle Paragon Casting Rods

$243.00 - $339.00

Innovative bass fishing rods designed for today's new style of extreme power fishing techniques, the Power Tackle Paragon Casting Rods, like all Power Tackle Rods, feature moderate-fast blanks. The increased action aids you from hookset to fighting the fish back to the boat because more of the rod flexes, instead of just the tip. This enables the angler to stay in contact with the fish after the hook set, and maintain equalized fighting pressure. Extremely sensitive as well, a blank-thru Fuji ACS Reel Seat provides anglers with maximum access to the rod blank and heightened vibration transfer. Each Paragon Series Rod also features exclusive grooves cut into the handle, which furnishes the angler with a more secure and ergonomic grip for added leverage and comfort. Recoil Guides (and Fuji Alconite Guides only on the PG143-610), expertly spaced along the rod blank, can also stand up to the heaviest loads, and provide long-lasting performance. Field-tested and refined on Texas' famed Lake Amistad, the Power Tackle Paragon Casting Rods are a durable, precisely engineered series of rods designed to deliver top-notch bass fishing performance.

Comments: Power Tackle rods are the real deal!!! Super sensitive and strong. The guides are amazing on this rod. Throw a light crankbait jerkbait worm or frog...the rod has perfect action for a variety of baits. I only wish all my rods used similar EVA grips like this one.

From: Corey: Gettysburg, PA 3/24/14

Comments: Don't get me wrong these are very nice rods but they are not quite as good as g loomis. The 104.5 is Very tip heavy and I ordered two of the 7'3 composite crank rods and received two rods with two different actions one was right on and the other had a way softer action. These are good rods but for just a little more money you can buy loomis rods which are lighter, more sensitive, and have better quality control.

From: Ben: Emory, TX

Comments: Hands down the best rods on the market. You absolutely cannot beat them. Each rod is good for a number of techniques, and without a doubt the parabolic action is the best out there. They are super strong and you couldn't ask for a more friendly and helpful company to deal with!

Comments: This review is for the Paragon 104Power Tackle rod . The Paragon104 -7'6"rod is very versitale sensative and light . A great rod for Texas rigging, Spinner baiting, Carolina rigging and light duty flipping. Hand built with top notch componets and a quality North Fork Composits blank DECEPTIVLY POWERFUL this rod is a co-anglers best freind just change the bait . NO WORRIES

From: Rodney: Orlando, FL

Comments: Pretty nice rods. . . a little tip heavy though.

Comments: my first review was when i was fishing cold water with 5/16 ounce jig which is not what this rod was made for but i was just excited to fish it. now that im fishing with bigger jigs i cant say enough about this rod. you can feel everything from sand to gravel and there is no mistaking the bites. i can fish jigs with some slack in my line and know when the fish bites. and you stick more fish and you pull them out of cover instead of ripping them out so there is never slack in your line. Awesome rods

From: Dave: GA

Comments: this rod is tip heavy but if you just put some tape or something at the bottom it makes the rod more balanced so a full grip at at the bottom would solve that and i like full grips better. Other than that the rod is very very sensitive but i wont buy another until they balance it out better

From: Dave: Georgia, USA

Comments: I own the 7'6'' MH Paragon casting rod. I can't say enough good things about the rod. I have been throwing 1 ounce spinner baits on it and flipping with it as well. These rods are built on North Fork Composite blanks. I haven't found a rod that is more sensitive to date and i've fished with Loomis GLX's and St. Croix Legend Extremes. You will stick more fish with the moderate fast actions that the power tackle rods have.
