Overview
Featuring cutting-edge technology and components, the Power Tackle Paragon Crankbait Casting Rods are precision engineered to excel at a variety of specific crankbait presentations. Field-tested on Lake Amistad, the extra action and loading of the rods’ moderate-fast tapers aids you from hookset to fighting the fish, and won’t stop until your fish is in the boat. More of the rod bends toward the middle, instead of just the tip (as with faster tipped rods), allowing the bass to fully engulf the bait for solid hooksets, and enabling you to maintain equalized fighting pressure to resist the fish leveraging and throwing the bait.
Premium Fuji Alconite Guides at Concept Spacing deliver excellent durability and strength, and help maintain proper rod curvature under heavy loads. The Fuji ACS Reel Seats also feature a blank-thru design, which helps you detect the difference between cover and fish, and combined with the Paragon Series tapered EVA foam grips that conform perfectly to the natural shape of your hand, the rod provides excellent ergonomic comfort. Delivering top-notch performance, the Power Tackle Paragon Cranking Rods are designed for today’s new style of extreme power fishing.
All rod warranties must go directly through Power Tackle Rods.

Comments: Bought one of these recently. Using it as a small crank rod. Fit and Finish is great. Decent balance, able to cast small to medium cranks easily. Good sensitivity. It's fiberglass, no graphite in this rod , so it's not as sensitive as the hybrid. But, if you think about it, if you are crank fishing , super sensitivity isn't really need...

Comments: The 7'3 glass rod is a great trap rod only set back the handle is huge and feels weird after using smaller slpit grip casting rods

Comments: A VERY versatile rod for cranking. I use mine for DD22's. I own the 7'3" composite model and have gotten to handle the 7'3" glass model. I prefer the composite model for the added sensitivity and slightly faster tip than the glass rod. The 7'3" Fiberglass rod DOES NOT have the ACS reel seat. The composite model does. Before this rod I had a 7'11" MH Fast Shimano Cumara Reaction. The Power Tackle rod is less tiring for me to throw big cranks on. Great overall rod, and awesome company.
