Built for the long haul, the Quantum Antix Spinning Reel is a feature-packed workhorse. Its lightweight composite body with a metal side cover provides a rigid base, and holds all gearing and components in perfect alignment, while its 10-stainless steel bearing system (9+1) ensures years of ultra smooth casts and retrieves.

A Continuous Anti-Reverse makes sure there is zero backplay for rock-solid hooksets, and a top-accessed drag system delivers consistent fish fighting pressure throughout its range. Also equipped with a Long Stroke Dual-Anodized Spool, the Quantum Antix Spinning Reel is a great reel, especially at its appetizing mid-range price.

Customer Reviews

Comments: this is not a bad reel at all. it looks good, and has not let me down. the drag is not the smoothest, and the drag knob paint has already chipped off. it definitely is not worth $60, and although it is a decent reel, I would suggest a pflueger president (same price point)

Comments: This reel is an amazing buy for $60! I have the 20 series spooled up with 6 pound test mono, and it casts like a dream. The drag system is very good, which helps a TON with light line. Overall i would give this reel a 5/5.

Comments: The AN20 is a nice reel, for the price. It is real smooth, and I use it for finesse fishing and smaller lures(1/4oz. and under) with 8lb. P-Line. The drag is not the best I've seen, although I've only used the reel once so far and only landed 7 fish with it, so I may not have had it set properly. All in all, if your looking for a good reel for a good price, the Quantum Antix is a good bet.
