Saltgard 6-layer corrosion protection finish - developed with marine expers, protects the reel with a dense molecular barrier, 6 layers in all - designed to stand up to saltwater abuse.
CNC Machined aluminum frame, side cover and front support - The one-piece design provides a solid foundation for the PT drive train and means less wear and tear on the moving components for less maintenance.
ACS II externally adjustable centrifugal braking - the external dial allows you to adjust the centrifugal brakes to perfectly match your fishing situation, without having to disassemble the reel.
Ceramic drag system - special ceramic coating provides more consistency and dissipates heat much more quickly. This translates into better wear and less maintenance.
Dual PT-bearing Continuous Anti-Reverse - provides a fail-proof, rock-solid hooksets with absolutely zero backblay
Super Free Spool pinion design - allows the spool to "float" on the drive train, which creates less friction and contributes to the smoothness of the reel.

Comments: Not so hot. Only four brake control adjustments....not 16+ like most magnetic braking system., Lightly used and the paint around the top of the reel is bubbling up/about to crack off...not good- this is supposed to be a SALTWATER reel. $150 isn't high end but it should definitely deliver more than said issues. If you ave any hope of getting back into the game Quantum, you need to buck up!

Comments: I purchased this reel for flippin and was dissapointed with the ability to free spool. The flipping distance was not to my standards. I casted it a few times in my pool and immediately regretted my purchase. Luckily the excellent staff at tackle warehouse allowed me to exchange it for a curado e7. That type of service ensured I will never buy a reel from anywhere else. The drag system however had the stopping power of a 50. cal. Overall this is a good reel just not what I was looking for thanks tackle warehouse!
