A tough brass main gear and drive shaft provide the power and durability you need with enough torque to crater a lesser quality reel, and a double back-up pawl and ratchet system also serves as an emergency brake to eliminate anti-reverse failure when a monster slams your lure.
The EXO skeletal aluminum frame feels rock solid in your hands while remaining lightweight, and Quantum’s CSC Drag System can also take the heat and operate smoothly thanks to its carbon, stainless and ceramic disks that stack up well against fever-generating runs from big fish. Comments: This reel is great for flippin I was using it with my 7'3" xtra heavy duckett micro magic and 80 pound power pro braid flipping heavy cover and caught a 8.3 pounder and brought it in with no problems at all. I would recomend this reel to anyone!!!!
