In response to the new wave of smaller diameter and stronger fishing line, Quantum completely redesigned their Performance Tuned Series (PTiB) into smaller, faster and lighter reels. As 'finesse' fishing has taken off in the bass fishing world, Quantum has made the adjustment and designed reels perfect for the task. The three areas Quantum's engineers focused on to reduce the reels' weight were the reel body, the Line Management System and rotor design. Before they even make it to the water, each reel design goes through hours of rigorous testing in the company's ever-expanding laboratory. Comments: I have one in the 10 and 20 size. Both are excellent reels but if you want something that is smoother and lighter, go for the tour. One thing that i did not like about this reel is how the bail wire is set up. the pin gets extremely loose and looks like it is going to fall off. overall a good reel, 4 stars.

Comments: Dont much care for this reel. I have had two break on me...I am pretty rough on stuff though...I fish three to four times a week. Great reel for a fisherman who doesnt fish much. If you fish a whole lot, the reel will not hold up. Hard fisherman...buy the Ci4 from Shimano. Not trying to be a downer, but this has been my experience with this reel.
