If Reality TV entered the world of fishing reels the Quantum Tour Edition PT VI would be a combination of the Biggest Loser and Extreme Makeover. The Quantum PT VI reels lost weight and got a facelift thanks to the creative engineers at Quantum. The overall profile of the Tour Edition reels is now sleeker and slimmer and the advances in material provided incredible weight reduction, up to 20% lighter.
The weight loss and facelift are welcome improvements but without the attributes of Performance Tuned they mean nothing and Quantum has not forgotten their roots. The new generation Micro ACS external adjustable cast control, PT hybrid bearings, PT gears and smooth ceramic drag systems make these reels PT to the core.

Comments: got this at dicks sporting goods on sale for believe it or not, 80 bucks. freaken badass reel. tried it out at the lake and can just say i can see why it was worth so much. just glad i didnt have to spend the 280 for it. only down fall is its made in china........bummer. what the hell happened to made in usa with fishing reels? quantum should take a lesson from ardent. over all awesome reel. way lighter than i would of thought. reel also cast great and fits perfect in my hand.

Comments: As of right now it looks like a great reel. its pretty smooth out of the box. ill have to wait till the spring to really see if its good. but its built well for sure. feels very sturdy. it is scratch resistant like it says. ive dropped it a few times and no scratches. it is a very eye catching reel. The drag seems like its a lot less than advertised. it comes a little lubed but you will have to oil it a bit

Comments: amazing reel. have two of them one for light tackle like shakey heads with 8 pound fluorocarbon. and another with 17 pound fluorocarbon for jigs ,texas rigs and , light swim baits both work great in both aspects. drag and breaking system are great. an amazing real. i think is better than any garcia out there.

Comments: Best reel that I have ever used and no one else has lower prices on this reel than Tackle Warehouse. Casting light crankbaits and finesse baits with this reel is easy to do once you dial it in and the reel casts a mile. The reel is comfortable in my hands and very smooth. Not sure if the drag is truly 17 pounds but it seems to be around 12 or 13 pounds which is plenty for how I use this reel. Drag is consistant and flows well when fighting fish. I hope to be purchasing more if they go on sale again. Well worth the price tag.

Comments:I have this reel paired up with the KVD 7'4" launcher and it is absolutely insane. This is a crank setup and it handles the DD22's with ease. Cast's fairly good and smooth, backlashes are at a near zero. Also has a good drag.
