Quantum Tour KVD Crankin Rods

$159.99 - $169.99

Kevin VanDam, the all-time BASS money winner, is one of the best in the business when it comes to cranking, and the newly redesigned Quantum Tour KVD Cranking Rods have all the attributes he needs to consistently crank up tournament winning fish. The composite blanks blend E-Glass and carbon to deliver perfectly tuned parabolic glass actions, as well as, the added sensitivity and backbone that carbon provides. Dialed into KVD’s exacting standards, the series features technique-specific models designed for a range of cranking aplications whether you like to fish shallow running squarebills or gigantic, deep diving 10XD’s. The premium Alp’s LXN micro guides with aluminum oxide inserts also help facilitate greater casting distance and accuracy, while helping reduce rod weight, and the Fuji ACS reel seats furnish a comfortable base for your reel. The same rods VanDam uses in all his tournaments, the Quantum Tour KVD Cranking Rods deliver the precision and performance he needs for his no-nonsense style of fishing.

Customer Reviews

Comments: I had the "power launcher" 7'10 and it was a good rod even caught my pb at 12.27 but I pulled a 13 inch fish out of the reeds barely and pow, it snapped about 2 foot from the reel seat. Good rod until you need it around cover.

From: Kade: USA 6/10/16

Comments: Very displeased with the 7'11" Heavy action. Misaligned guides up and down the blank - especially the tip, which is canted to the left - cheap EVA foam handle is very slippery and the rod is heavy and imbalanced. Save your money and buy the Dobyns 806CB for throwing 10XDs.

From: Charles: TX 7/19/14

Comments: I used the 7'11" Hvy on Lake Fork deep crankin Strike King 10XD's in 28-30 ft. Rod & lures worked like a charm. I was reaching the bottom bringing up mud on the lip of the 10XD's when I wasn't crankin in a big old large mouth.
