Comments: The net works great. Just be careful the net doesn't ever touch the side of your boat. There are sharp edges and bolts that will put holes in the top of your clear coat. I have two holes that went through the clear coat and into the fiberglass.

Comments: Don't get me wrong I love the dual extending handle of the EGO net and it's that net that made me really like the clear rubber, but the Ranger net is my new favorite net. I've had fish bounce out of the clear rubber net of the EGO because it's so shallow but Ranger has fixed that with the 18" deep clear rubber. The octagon handle is strong and sturdy and doesn't have the issues the EGO have given me over the last year. The handle collapses down very small for transport which also makes it nice and convenient. Hands down my favorite after using several different $100+ nets in the past.
