Rapala Rippin Rap Lipless Crankbaits
The Rapala Rippin Rap is destined to be a classic. Effective year around, especially in the Spring and Fall, it has a killer bait fish profile that looks exactly like what bass are feeding on with a textured finish and 3D eyes that put it over the top. Its cupped face also helps it produce a tremendous amount of vibration and a super loud rattle calls the fish out of the grass. Fish it fast or slow, rip it out of vegetation, the Rapala Rippin Rap is available in a range of proven colors to help you match the hatch and catch fish all year long.

Comments: I was at my uncle's house just hanging out and talking when he says that he lives right by Old Hickory Lake. Well I didn't know that but I always keep a few rods in my truck. We had been fishing at a pond earlier and got skunked so he was talking smack all the way to the lake. Well we get there and he water was super muddy and all I really had to use for that lake was a Crawdad Rippin Rap. I had never used a Rippin Rap but I knew how to use one. So I tie on the Rippin Rap and my uncle ties on a Rat-L-Trap of basically the same color. First cast I pull up a ton of algae and realize that I need to keep it off the bottom. So my next cast I cast to almost the same spot and kept my rod tip high and WHAM this two pounder smacks it. I walk a little farther down the back and WAPPOW another two pounder. In an hour of fishing I pulled in 12 bass over a pound from the bank and my uncle did not catch a single one.

Comments: I have used this lure once and caught a 1 pounder. This crankbait has a great action, great rattle, and comes though grass like no other.

Comments: Great lure. Great action, sound, vibration...Oh yeah, and it catches fish! Lots of yellow perch in the pond I usually fish in, so tried that color. Holy cow...hit after hit. Lots of fun! Match the forage and hang on!!

Comments: Pretty good little rattle bait. My favorite is the Xcalibur, and I still like the Original Bill Lewis as well. This bait has some excellent colors though, so I have a few of these as well. Definitely worth a try.

Comments: This bait truly did it for my brother and I in the fall. I'm usually too stubborn to throw anything but a Strike King Red Eye Shad or XCalibur xr50, but this bait gets it done and slow speeds when the water is cold. I like that it has a tighter wobble than most as well for cold water situations. The red craw pattern is the deal.

Comments: Best lipless I have found. Great sizes, great action and super colors and detail. The gold chrome pattern is great.

Comments: awesome bait rip it up or pull it up and let it fall on semi slack line ...we caught 23 fish in 2 hrs on a lake we usually catch 10 on a good day the red craw was killin em 2- 30" pike 4# largemouth bunch of pickerel walleye and a pech every thing was killing this thing we were using the # 6 on 10# power pro in 12' of water..

Comments: Great little vibration bait. This bait really transmits good feel through the line, you know it's working. It also works at fairly low speeds and if you just barely reel it the bait glides which is deadly after it has been vibrating. The smallies love it but I also catch a lot of walleyes as by-catch. Something about the frequency they like. Last note: killer bait for brown trout too, awesome river lure.
Just wished that TW carried the #5 (2") version of this bait, it is deadly when bass are feeding on smaller crays or fish.

Comments: Easily the best lipless crankbait out there. This has been a pre spawn killer for me, it is extermely loud and that cupped lip gives the bait a nice tight wobble......you just want to replace the back hook because it is way to small but the front treble should be good. Just swap out the back hook and youll get more hook ups and it wont hook the fish as deep
Comments: This is a great bait. It has many good colors and it holds up well. I have caught many fish on it. The hooks are a little small, but i haven't lost a fish with it yet.

Comments: Money.......thats all. one of the best lipless cranks out there
Comments: This bait is a winner! Wish TW had it in the silent model...it is absolutely killer on spots! The big lips like it too!!
