2012 marks the 50th anniversary of Rebel Lures. In 1962, innovative angler George Perrin established a lure company that would forever change the fishing world. To commemorate this benchmark, Rebel Lures has released a limited supply of the ever-popular Rebel Pop-R. The Rebel Pop-R is a bass fishing legend. It catches as many fish today as it did when it was introduced more than 20 years ago. It can be fished like a topwater popper or chugger, but what the pros don’t want you to know is that it’s one of the best topwater reaction baits on the market. Available in two classic colors, you can own a piece of Rebel Lures history.
Comments: best deal for price they work great and pop better in my opinion than almost all the high dollar ones. so why would you pay $20 or more for 1 popper when you can 3 or 4 packs of these the colors are great too
Comments: Patience is a virtue with poppers. This is a great value if just starting out on poppers. After you catch 75-100, the hooks will bend, maybe break off. Replace the rear with a higher quality make. Go naked hooked or add flashaboo/feathers, your option after the original wears out. I;ve had them hit it and miss and come back for it. Splash it or slurp it down, let her take it, reel in the slack and boom-, set it. The hit is more exciting than the fight:)
