Comments: This lure will not come up to the top on a slow retrieve on long cast until its too close to the boat. I tried speeding it up while keeping my line off the water, giving it a chance to float back o the top after splash down, and it wouldn't get on top until the last 30 feet of cast. It's not what I was hoping it would be.

Comments: It's more of a shallow running jointed crankbait in my view. That said it's a fun little bait that's very productive.

Comments: for whatever reason people are saying this thing doesnt wake they are wrong, of course you have to keep your rod tip raised. been fishing these for 2 seasons with no problems yet.
Comments: it wakes awesome for me and have caught plenty of bass on it. its reallt is a good small wakebait
Comments: Agree with Jose. Why is this a wake bait when it dives 6"-1 foot under the surface? Good action but not what I bought it.....waking ON THE SURFACE.

Comments: Mid and tail sections fell off at first use, caught in light weeds, and when pulled, only the head came back. Have the River2sea diving frog as well, but loosing confidence in this brand fast. Will stick to my chug bug.

Comments: not sure why they call this bait a wake bait! when you start to reel it in it goes about 6" under the surface!

Comments: I bought this bait as a cheaper alternative to the Jackall Mikey Jr. which has proven to be an exceptional bait. I was dubious that the V-Joint Wake would stack up, but for $8 I could live with an underperformer. I was very pleasantly surprised. It has an action that is every bit as lively as the Jackall. The finish is great and the hardware is rock solid. It has excellent hooks but the hooks are a bit smaller than come on the Jackall. An excellent buy for the TW's price.
