Overview
Delivering monster hooking capabilities thanks to an extra large 5/0 Gamakatsu hook, the Santone Rayburn Siwash Swim Jig features the same design and tournament-proven performance as the original Rayburn Swim Jig. Perfect for use with bigger swimbait trailers, its wide bite also means a better hook up ratio, and it still stays incredibly weedless - like all of the Rayburn Swim Jigs.
Tested and refined on the waters of Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend by lure designer Brian Branum, Raburn Siwash Swim Jig features oversized 3D prism eyes, super tough, powder-coated, weedless head design, and high-quality silicone skirt deliver a winning presentation, especially when paired with your favorite trailer. A double barbed trailer keeper also makes sure your trailer stays secure and straight, while a multi-colored weedguard rounds out the premium features and helps ensure you avoid snags. Available in a range of proven colors, the Santone Rayburn Siwash Swim Jig takes performance up a notch to help you target the biggest bass around.
Please Note: 7/16oz features the double barbed bait keeper (shown in image) and the 5/16oz features a cork screw bait keeper (not shown).

Comments: Love the way it swims straight and hooks fish solidly, usually in the cheek. Great around grass and some wood. Hate the coil spring lure keeper on the 5/16 oz. size because it makes it almost impossible to change/replace skirts and it takes longer to thread a new trailer on the swim jig after you catch a bunch of fish and have to replace both. The first thing I do to this new lure is cut off the coil spring keeper and change the skirt out for a "super white" color skirt by Strike King, but then of course my trailers don't stay on as good and are usually only good for 1 fish each as a result. I have requested to Santone lures the elimination of this coil spring keeper and replace it with a single barb trailer keeper that is built onto the hook like their 7/16 oz. swim jig models are built. I shouldn't have to alter/improve the design myself.
