Overview

The most realistic crustacean bait on the market - the Savage Gear TPE 3D Shrimp is designed from a 3D scan of an actual shrimp.

Featuring an ultra-lifelike design covered with intricate detailing from end-to-end, its long whiskers emit subtle micro-movements, and each TPE 3D Shrimp also features glowing strike points for eyes, which help eliminate short bites and facilitate better hook sets. The body of the Savage Gear TPE 3D Shrimp is also articulated to give it a smooth, lifelike action. Its lively moving legs also go wild on the retrieve and the drop for added attraction. At the rear of the Savage Gear TPE 3D Shrimp is a thumping paddle tail infused with a nylon mesh to give it an unbeatable durability.

Pre-rigged and ready for action right out of the package, the Savage Gear TPE 3D Shrimp comes equipped with an ultra-sharp EWG hook that is perfectly weighted for optimal performance. Designed from a 3D scan of an actual shrimp, the Savage Gear TPE 3D Shrimp works wonders in any environment cohabitated by crustaceans and fish.

Comments: I bought every type of Shrimp bait on tackewarehouse, this one worked the best for inshore Texas. Its perfectly weighted to drop in the water nice and level. Its been durable enough for 3 days of fishing and dozens of fish. The only negative is the hook keeper on the body. The front hook keeper is strong and doenst seem like it will ever break. The hook keep on the body was much more thin and broke the first day. This can be solved by just keeping an eye on the hook to make sure its still rigged properly, or by sticking the hook through a thin piece of the body. If Savage Gear could solve this one aspect, it would be darn near perfect. Either way, catches fish and way cheaper than live shrimp.. Which was the goal of my purchase.

Comments: ive used this for bass and it works just fine. this shrimp absolutely kills in saltwater! snook, redfish, tarpon, trout and more! it holds up great also with mesh infused body,

Comments: I saw these baits at ICAST and was very impressed with not only the incredible life like detail, but also the swimming action of the tail and legs. I really like that they are poured around a mesh layer that adds to the durability. However, be aware that these baits are made of a plastic that MELTS when it is exposed to other plastic baits. My tournament partner called and warned me and I only lost one bait, as the legs melted off. He however lost six baits. I did use it once before it melted and caught several bass on it.

Comments: No clue how this thing will work I largies or smallies but I put the smack down on some redfish and speckled trout down in Louisiana. If the forage is shrimp, this thing will get the job done. Also you may question this price point on a single soft plastic bait but it is poured around a cloth netting and this thing is tough! Stood up to countless reds and specks, and they are a little rougher on stuff than bass.
