Customer Reviews Back to Top
Comments: Picked up one of these Alabama Rig rods recently and have been really ecstatic with it's performance. Only planned on using it occasionally for some 3-4 wire rig fishing but found out to my pleasure that it was built for so much more. With it's 8 oz. max. load it has a very wide sweet spot that permits casting/fishing mid-size swimbaits and actually being able to work the baits with the soft tip it came with. Heavy spinbaits designed for musky, 6-8" punkers; large poppers and large plastic swimbaits like Hudds and 316 Rising Sons are easily fished with this forgiving rod! It's very light and accurate with just about anything you choose to put on your line. If your in the market for anything I've described including the Rigs it was designed for, give this rod a look. I think you'll be very, very pleased with what you find in it's capabilities.
