Paul Elias is widely recognized as an innovator in the world of professional bass fishing. His creativity and ability to utilize new and overlooked techniques to their fullest potential has propelled him to victories at the highest levels of competition. He won the 1982 Bassmaster Classic with an innovative, new approach to getting a crankbait to dive to its deepest depths with a technique he called "Kneelin N Reelin." Most recently he was credited with bringing the Alabama Rig to the forefront of competitive fishing with his domination of the FLW Tour event at Lake Guntersville in Alabama (Nov 2011).
Seeker Fishing Rods has taken the same approach to building the Seeker ReactPRO Paul Elias Signature Series Casting Rods with the help and input of Paul Elias, himself. Featuring blanks constructed from true military spec S-Glass (Super Glass) material, each rod is "hyper strong" and amazingly light in weight. What really sets these rods apart, however, is their actions. The S-Glass material allows for an ultra thin walled blank that has the slow reaction/recovery you need when you are fishing moving baits, like crankbaits. The soft, forgiving tips are dialed in perfectly for their given application, allowing the bait to dive and perform to its fullest capabilities, while also providing a better hookset and landing ratio. Also complemented with Kigan and Fuji components for strength and years of durability, ultra lightweight EVA grips furnish all day comfort and help reduce weight even further. Made and assembled right here in the USA, the Seeker ReactPRO Paul Elias Signature Series Casting Rods feature technique-specific models perfectly tuned for Paul Elias's most productive bass fishing applications.

Comments: As soon as I pulled my rod out of the tube I paired it up with a Lew's tournament pro spooled with 12 lb. mono I use for squares and traps. I fell in love with the first cast. I got the 7'2" Paul Elias mind you. This rod loads beautifully allowing super long cast's. It is also very light and sensitive. I only caught a few dinks but I know it can handle the big uns. This is my first Seeker rod and it wont be my last. The 7'11" kneel and reel is next on my list.
