Comments: I've always been a fan of Shimano rods. I own 4 rods from 30 years ago and they are still going strong. In terms of action and component quality, this rod is very well balanced and light weight. They made a believer out of me. Don't spend your money on overpriced rods.

Comments: Bought this rod on sale at my local sporting goods store for 45 dollars in the 6'8 medium heavy and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT it is by far my favorite rod for my light spinners, buzz-baits, swim jigs and creatures just an overall great rod and is especially good paired up with the Shimano Symetre or Sahara reels
Comments: Bought the 7'2" MH to use for shakey heads and finesse jigs. After fishing it for several months, I fee it has costs me lots of bites as it is not very sensitive at all. Even when paired with braid, I still am not getting the sensitive as I do from my more dependable and only slightly more expensive rods. It is very tip heavy and is tiring to fish with. I am currently trying to sell it to replace with something better.

Comments: Got the 7'2" MH extra fast and mated it to a abu garcia Orra s 30 series . Without a lure, it is very well balanced but as soon as you tied a lure even a 3" senko, it got tip heavy. The rod is nice and good but due to the tip heavy, I would get a very sore wrist by the end of the day.

Comments: I bought this on a whim with help from the baitmonkey,I needed a rod for a new spinning reel I had gotten for the holidays, its an average reel so I didn't want to go overboard with a highend rod for it....well I'm VERY impressed with this rod.the price does this rod no justice.it feels absolutly like heaven in your hands, its light and balances well with my reel, and I also put about 6 more reels on it to see how it felt and with all it felt comfy and balanced out.shimano did great on the rods this year, unlike their baitcasters this year..another story.but with this rod u get way more then what ur payn for,I got the 6'8 mh and used it in mexico at elsalto from spinnerbaits,t rigged chiggers and even tied on a river2sea sweaver and this rod handled it all perfect and I felt everything that needed tto be felt and ended up landing a 9lb6oz fatty bass with this rod.if I need more spinning rods in the future I would def. Grab one of these again.
