Customer Reviews

Comments: I got this rod late last year and used it during the winter and spring for umbrella rigs. I use 1/8 & 1/4 oz jigs & 5" paddle tails. I had been using a Dobyn's Champion swimbait rod for a couple years. I really like this rod. I have it set up with a Lew's BB1 Pro & it makes a very nice light feeling set up. It is definitely lighter than the Dobyn's & has a better action for the rig, I can cast it farther with less effort. I can use this rod all day & not tire out. I have a feeling the action will be very good for spoons & swimbaits, but I haven't tried that yet. I had tried a BPS swimbait rod, a Megabass swimbait rod & the Dobyn's & this is by far the best I have found for the rig.
