Comments: Excellent quality and incredible value. Used it for Pier fishing in Lake Ontario tributaries and landed numerous salmon including a 37.5 Chinook on 15 lb braid(4 lb mono equiv.} Super smooth drag , great cranking power, and awesome casting distance with braided line. Highly recommended.

Comments: The 1000FA is very nice for a light setup. Very smooth retrieve and solid feel and X-ship is a nice feature (yes it is a feature on this reel!).
