Shimano Saros F Spinning Reels - $129.99
Featuring a 1000 size spool on a 750 body, the Shimano Saros F brings new meaning to light tackle, but don't mistake its small size for timidness. The new Paladin Gear Durability Enhancement adds serious strength to the gear system without sacrificing any of the smoothness you want in a Shimano. The WP Drag (waterproof drag) also ensures no water can foul your drag system. Combined with the Propulsion Line Management System and Slow Oscillation for super long casts and no tangles, performance is nothing to worry about either.
Since this reel is perfect for light tackle fishing, the SR One-Piece Bail is designed with no gap for line (especially smaller tests) to snag on during normal operation, reducing friction and allowing the line to get on the line roller quicker. Add in 5 Shielded A-RB bearings, a sealed Maintenance Port, and thread-in machined Aluminum handle, the Saros F will be a performer for years to come.

Comments: This is the best spinning reel I've used yet. Unbelievably smooth and really seems to reduce line twist better than any other spinning reel I've used. Fluoro can still be a pain to use after it's been on there for a while, but that's true no matter what reel you use. This one seems to do the best job without costing a ton.

Comments: This is an awesome reel. Very smooth retrieve...smooth drag...lots of power. I have it paired with a Crucial Drop Shot Rod and it's a very nice combo. I would suggest the Saros to anyone looking for a nice spinning reel for a fair price.

Comments: great real. i was looking for a reel that would keep up with my stradic ci4. and other thn the ci4 being extreamly light weight, the saros is an amzing choice for 130 bucks. shimano has never let me down and its why i wont buy any other brand

Comments: One of the best reels I have used by Shimano...It's smooth, durable, and best of all it has a lot of the same features as the Stella, without the heavy price tag!

Comments: I own 2/1000 and 2/2500 Shimano Saros mounted on Kistler Helium rods and they are the perfect combination of finesse power and feel when it comes to shaky head and drop shot presentations! They perform far better than expected! Thanks! Shimano!! Thanks! TW!!

Comments:I brought this reel and it has exceeded my expectations. I have a Sustain on a Cumara rod and the Saros on a Crucial dropshot rod. They are both great reels and the saors is just as good for less the price. I highly suggest that if you're looking for a great reel that is reasonably affordable, this is the reel your looking for. I caught my personal best on it, 9.2lbs bass on a jiggy head.
