Comments: I wrote the initial review too soon. After my return from G-ville I did not notice that the cuffs have worn past the top coating. Both cuffs wore out in the same place. After 2 weeksof use. I also returned the bibs due to a delaminated Velcro on the heals. The problem lies with the way Simms responded to a known defect. They took 2 months to return the garment to me and what I received was an after thought fix that looked horrific. On top of the less than neat stitching of the cuffs they sewed on from the old jacket model (deepwater) the seemstress also managed to melt the watch window. Luckily, the fly shop I bought the suit from, decided to return my money because they felt Simms took to long and was not returning there phone calls. I did decide to call Simms for an explanation of why I had to wait 2 months to receive a product that looked like it took 10 minutes of effort to fix. Two months later and a bunch of trips to the fly shop hoping my suit is returned, all I got was a less than warm apology and a statement of "we will get better as more get returned". What do I get for two months with out product?Flat nothing. Shame on you Simms! This is not what I expected after years of loyalty. Treat your customers better.

Comments: I really struggled with the price of this thing...I questioned buying it. Sorry TW, but I found it elsewhere at 30% off, so I HAD to buy it. It is amazing. Everything about it is quality. It is far more light weight then I thought it was going to be. It was comfortable and I can put 3 - 4 layers on underneath. It ran a little big, but I cannot wait to get rained on and test it out.
Comments: Just returned from Guntersville for a week of fishing. Had minimal rain but I expect gore-tex to keep me dry concidering a 22 in. per hour rating. And a ridiculous price tag most will rightfully shy away from. At this price my expectations were set high. I will say the suit performed extremely well. My first impression was how thin the suit feels. Allowing me to layer and not feel bulky. The second impression was all day comfort. Besides the one day where temp started in the low 30s and shoot up to upper 60s, I never took my suit off. The cuffs are water tight and comfortable. The pockets all make sense meaning "well thought out". There is elastain in the areas that need stretch to give mobility like a soft shell. The bibs have a full side zip allowing easy on with shoes as well easy acess to pant pockets. Ultimately, I would sorely miss not having this suit in cold wet situations. Most other suits half the price could keep you just as dry but none will provide all the sutle features that one would expect from Simms.
