Comments: I have had these gloves for 2 years now. I don't know what "Hardcore Protection" means to SIMMS, but it must not mean much. Put these gloves on when winter bass fishing in Ohio and it is a high of 30 and you will regret it. They are so not warm it's laughable. Go with fingerless wool and hothands warmers and pour your coffee on your fingers. There is just a measureable amount of pain that goes along with winter fishing... No way around it.

Comments: i also love these mits they will be 2 years old this October and ahow virtually no signs of wear an tear and they sure keep your hands warm in the worst spring and fall conditions. Good job Simms!
Comments: Love these gloves. Hands never went numb when using them. When its super cold, fold the mitt over to stay warm. When you need to, fold it back for tying knots, changing lures, adjusting a reel. Very versatile gloves. They grip fish well as well as repel water well. I was able to handle many fish and never felt a drop of water inside on my hand. I washed them off in the lake and they dried relatively quickly, as quick as they can in 35* weather. I even used them for driving and snow blowed the driveway in 17* weather with them. Only downside is line tends to get hung up on the glove when the mitts are folded back. Not a big issue. Smacks "wal-mart" gloves all over the lake while keeping me warm!

Comments: Not worth the money. Hands went numb at the exact same time they would have gone numb with a $10 pair from Walmart. Wooooooo the thumb folds over... Who cares when you can't feel it.

Comments: These gloves are outstanding for a day of fishing. I use them fly fishing during the fall and spring time and put a handwarmer in each mitten pouch and just bring my index and thumb outside the glove. It is actually comfortable to do this and the other three fingers stay extremely warm. Best part about them is that you can pop your index finger back in them when it gets cold. These gloves repel water well and are windproof.
