Comments: August 26, 2013 Update from Aug. 16 comments. The STORY GETS WORSE! Ultimate continues to disappoint, even in the 12# size. Most recently I tried using a uniknot for baits on my spinning reel and it broke every time I tested the knot. Finally had to use a Palomar which worked some better. EQUALLY BAD was the line twist coming off the spool near the end, and the way the line curled above the knot when I cinched it.  Going back to Sufix or P-Line. I understand Sufix has a copolymer called Superior which Bernie Schultz uses. If it's as good as their Elite AND with lower stretch, it should be excellent. Hope TW will look into carrying it.

Comments: August 16, 2013. I, too, have found this line in 14# to be as stated, strong and low stretch, BUT, not very limp AND the WORST PART was knot strength. It took me 4 times to tie a uni-knot without the line breaking at the knot. I had better success with the 12#--more limp and knots held better, BUT I won't be buying Ultimate again. The EZ MONO was a lot more limp, even in 17# and had better knot stre

Comments: Spooled this line on a bait caster about a month ago. It is strong, sensitive, cast great, durable, very low stretch mono/co-poly, and handles very well. I have had no issues with this line. Yesterday, I spooled 10# on a spinning reel. Fished all day, no problems, including a 6 lb'r. Filled the spool 1/16" from the lip(I always stretch my line after spooling), flipped the bail and it stayed put. Other wise, same as above. I had to spool label down, which is unusual, but happens occasionally with other lines as well. This line will be replacing all reels I have spooled with Senshi. Cost less too. This line doesn't advertise, " High Impact Knot-Strength ", also known as " Stretch ". Knots are great, this is a truly low stretch mono, keep the lb test in mind.

Comments: The claims seem valid: strong, thin diameter, low stretch. The downside is that memory can be a problem, so it depends on what you most want in a line. For now, this will probably be my backup to Sufix.

Comments: just bought this line a week ago. i promise there is not another monofilament on the market that has less stretch than this line.
