St. Croix Legend Xtreme Casting Rods
The St. Croix Legend Xtreme Casting Rods are incredibly light and sensitive, yet have plenty of power when you need it. The Legend Extreme rods feature St. Croix's premier SCVI graphite material, a 62,000,000 modulus, high-strain graphite that compliments Legend's core of SCV graphite. The SCV graphite material is itself an extraordinarily high-modulus/high-strain graphite fiber featuring a carbon-matte scrim. It is considered the highest quality all-purpose graphite blank material, and is exclusive to St. Croix.
The Legend Xtreme rods also feature the exclusive Integrated Poly Curve Technology (IPC). IPC eliminates all transitional points in the rod blank, resulting in smoother action, increased strength, and greater sensitivity. Legend Xtreme's Advanced Reinforcing Technology (ART) is a carbon fiber material that adds 10x strength with virtually no increase in blank diameter or weight. ART significantly improves hoop strength of the blank by preventing it from deforming or "ovaling" under severe load, such as a powerful hook set.
These phenomenally sensitive, smooth and light rods feature ultralight and durable REC Recoil guides and a Fuji SiC tip guide with a titanium coated frame. Attach your reel with the Fuji ACS Reel Seat. No detail is overlooked, down to the machined-aluminum wind check, premium grade split grip cork handles, and two coats of FLex Coat slow-cure finish.

Comments: I own several St Croix rods. Legend Extreme, Legend Elite,Legend tournament, Avid series and Premier. All of these rods have proven to be very well made rods. Having said that I must say the best part about St Croix is there service. They are always capable and friendly. Always finding a reason to help rather than a reason to say no. All rods break or get broken. Service is what seperates the good companies from the best. In my humble opinion St Croix has the best service.

Comments: The St. Croix Xtreme 6'8" Medium is with out a doubt the best top water pop r style bait rod I have ever used, And also the best rip/jerk bait rod I have ever used and I have tested many rods for jerk baits! When throwing a megabass vision 110 jerkbait or popmax or pop x or any style of bait in that catagory this is the only rod to throw!

Comments: I own a 7' Heavy action Legend Extreme and have fished with it the past two years on four separated trips to Lake El Salto. It is, without a doubt, the lightest, most sensitive, and strongest rod you can use for fishing with jigs and plastics. It is rod number ONE in my bass fishing arsenal, and I own a 10 or 12 casting rods. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Without a doubt.

Comments:These rods are worth the cash. They are superlight, ultra sensative. I have even caught a 25 lb musky on one of these rods with no problems. They also have lifetime warranty and the people at St croix will take care of you. I slammed one of my avids in the door was honest with them and they replaced it. All I had to pay was the shipping.

Comments:Bought a legend series, light rod but not very tough, broke it setting the hook on a 5 pound catfish and sent it back got the replacement and it broke third trip out. Also own a mojo 7 footer heavy rod not impressed.
