Comments: Incredible rods! They are absolutely gorgeous, And they preform incredibly well! When fishing in 50+ depths with tubes for smallmouths I can fell the slightest tick! These rods also have phenomenal lifting power too! While fishing a small top water for smallies A 40 inch Muskie came up and Smashed it! I fought it for over 15 minuets But this rod handled it with ease! Pair it up with a Stella and It is an unbeatable combo!

Comments: 6'10 ML(XF): got to take it out for the first time yesterday. wonderfully light and balanced like a dream with my sustain fg. plus that black and silver look sweet together. definitely could feel the difference between the old version and these new retooled ones. so no it's not just a different label and handle on these rods. if u can get one, do it, bc these are sweet!! do wish it had a hook keeper tho so i have to give it a 9.5/10 for that.

Comments: From the premier to extreme, I got to say that I am really impressed my this spinning rod. It is the lightest rod I own. The complement it with my stradic which makes a ultimate duo. The grip feel like this suede and yet smooth material. This rod offers the best SCV guide system and is tangle free compared to the rage. I definitely recommend this rod to everyone that can afford it. Although I wished they would have made a hook keeper, but who needs one when the technology on this rod outweighs everything else.

Comments: Rod is awesome looking, feeling, the handle is like no other on the market- but why in the world for an almost $400 rod, would St.Croix NOT have a hook keeper?!? All the other rods have them so you don't wreck your guides, they really messed up this part of the rod design, can't wait to fish it though.
