Comments: I have the both the flipping and pitching rods. I don't like how heavy they feel paired up with my Shimano Curados. The inserts on both tips fell out as well so I had to replace them. I'm actually very surprised by all the positive comments but maybe the other models in the lineup are better. The flipping and pitching rods just aren't for me. I'm looking for something lighter and better balanced.

From: Dylan: San Jose, CA 9/30/14

Comments: great rod i bought the 7' mh fast for frogging and the rod loads up great for casting, especially roll casting you can really pick stuff apart, also has great backbone behind the tip to turn big ones!

From: Caleb: ME 9/5/14

Comments: I have four of these rods and they feel great but my biggest problem is that on all four of them I have a problem with the inserts falling out the eyes and it is not the rod end

From: Jessie: Independence, LA 8/24/14

Comments: I bought this rod for froggin' about six months ago, and it's just awesome!  The rod model I purchased was the spinnerbait 7' MH Fast for frogging. It has plenty of backbone to get bass out of lily pads, laydowns, and the occasional weed mat (if you fish really thick mats all the time you probably want the Slop n' Frog model, but for the frog walking, skipping, flipping, Dean Rojas kind of guy the 7' MH spinnerbait model is perfect).  This rod makes it easy to walk my Spro frogs and it also makes an great rod for swim jigs. It has the feel of a quality product and I am amazed every time I fish it.

From: FattyHunter13: OR 7/21/14

Comments: decent rod,I got the 6,6 med topwater rod. I took it out on the lake the first day I got it and fished all day, caught a ton of bass and some nice size pike, but then when I went to clip my lure down and the rod tip snapped but that was just due to user error.

From: Sam: Muskego, WI 6/19/14

Comments: This rod is one of the best out there for the money. In todays fishing market, all the focus on rods is about weight and people sometimes tend to forget how much the action of a rod plays into how you are able to fish a lure. I have the 7' MH spinnerbait version of this rod, and i couldn't ask for a better blank for fishing spinnerbaits and crankbaits. the tip has a moderate/fast give to it, but on the hookset this rod has more backbone than anything ive felt in a medium heavy, absolutely perfect for retrieve type baits.

From: Kurt: Annandale, NJ 3/24/14

Comments: This rod is a BEAST. i have put mine through everything ant this rod has handled it. ive had it for over a year now and caught a few bass around the 7.5 range and a bunch above 4. it swings big fish up rocks and up onto shore very well. i have caught at least 200 bass on this and its still going strong. I have a 7 MH and i throw everything from little crank baits and weightless plastics all the way up to 6 inch hudds and this rod handles both with ease. i mostly throw jigs and 6 inch swimbaits on this an its a great rod that i can do everything with. its super durable and i would highley reccomend one.

From: Daniel: CA 2/24/14

Comments: I own the Mojo Bass 7'6" MH Pitching rod and its a beast. It's pretty light for a 7'6". It is a little tip heavy but it a helluva lot better than a veritas. I own a Abu Garcia 7'3" MH that i used last season and it broke sent it in that season and it broke again later on. Abu is junk and i'll never buy from them again, their products are junk. Switching all my rods to mojos and the techinques the mojo doesnt have i'll buy rages.

From: Fishingman: WI

Comments: Mojo's are by far the best $100 rod made. They are so light, and the action is insane. I own every med. action they make. Get one or 10 you will not be disappointed. The only down side i see is Hencho en Mexico.

From: Ed: Ohio

Comments: To say this rod is incredible is not doing it justice!  these rods are absolutely incredible!  sensitive, strong, and lightweight... al in a 100$ rod thats incredible!  i own the topwater, glass crankbiat rod, pitchin  rod, drop shot rod and the worm and jig rod and will be buying more.  I highly sugest you take a look at the rods you will not be disappointed at all!

From: Sam: Ottawa, Ontario

Comments: Half way through the 2012 bass tournamnet season up north in Canada, I picked up a 7' MH casting and 7'M spinning Mojo Bass rods.  To say I was not disaapointed is a huge under statement.   I had heard alot about St Croix rods but the price tag always held me back.  Once I saw the Mojo Bass line, I didn't hesitate.  I am so completely impressed that I plan on buying more.  I have used Shimano, Fenwick, Daiwa, Quantum, and now have added St. Croix to my arsenal.   I have pretty much put my Daiwa's and Shinamo's away to collect dust, unless I need a spare rod.  I combine them with Quantum reels and I can  cast a crankbait a mile ( not an actual mile, cause that's impossible, but you get my point).  For angler on a budget, these are worth the price and worth purchasing.  Do not waist time wondering. I am incredibly picky on the fishing gear that I buy and use during tournaments and these are always on the top of the pile.

From: Jeff: Canada

Comments: snagged a monster carp, the mojo bass handled it with ease.

Comments: Last Christmas I bought the 7ft heavy slop n frog after missing a good 5-6 pound largemouth on lay lake last year on a frog during the AL student angler state championship because I didn't have the right rod. The only thing I do not like about this rod is its a little heavy and wears me out after twitching, and walking a frog all day. The rod performs amazing, I have caught a 5 and a 7 pound bass on this rod including numerous 3-4s on it as well, and the only sign of wear and tear is the top insert popped out 2 days ago. the rod does not lack power at all its a freakin broom stick.I would recommend this more as a beginning rod, for the price I would rather get a 13 fishing omen black rod. 4/5 stars

From: Caleb: Demopolis AL USA

Comments: Got the 7' MH spinnerbait model.  Fishes great but is extremely tip heavy as others have said....I found it to be almost perfect though when holding the baitcaster in my palm but otherwise not well balanced.  I did pull in a nice fish on it the other day and felt sturdy

From: Adam: Charlotte, NC

Comments: Personally I like the shorter handles on these rods, as I fish from a kayak! Most rods are made with standup fishing in mind.I have 8 rods and they suit me just fine.

From: Bryan: Newport News,Va

Comments: i landed a 50 inch musky with the 7 foot 9 heavy swimbait Super strong rod

From: Maxime: Lac St-Pierre ,Quebec

Comments: great rod enough said!

From: Shane: Lansing, MI

Comments: I have 5 Mojos now and love them all. Some are heavy, but I got used to them after awhile. I have two Slop n' Frogs, one Pitchin, one Plastics, and the glass crankster and use all of them.

From: Justin: MN

Comments: These are not great rods in terms of performance. They are extremely heavy in the tip and mid section. Would be great for a Guest rod for you boat because they are very sturdy and not lacking in power.  St. Croix needs to keep the same reel seat but find a new blank, use Fuji guides and go lighter on the glaze coat.

Comments: I bought this rod when it first it the market.  I like the action but be warned its extremely tip heavy and will take a lot to balance.  Also, after a couple of months, the top insert fell out. When I called st croix for a replacement, I had to pay 5 bucks for the tip.  Not happy with st croix.

From: gman: NY

Comments: just bought this sweet rod in spinner bait 7' mh. wasn't sure if i should get this or the 13 fishing omen and even the abu veritas ,but decided on the mojo so glad i bought this one it is amazing accuracy and distance. i know people with the veritas and it is lighter but does not cast as far ,but i think it would be better for all day fishing. the omen i heard was to stiff but i have never tried it so don't hold me to it. over all great rod in casting and accuracy and distance a little heavier than i thought but not uncomfortably heavy it still is lighter than all my other rods

Comments: A great rod for the price. Very sensitive will good back bone. I have the 7'0 M Plastics model and have caught a lot of fish on it. Seems to be very durable as well. I use it for everything plastics including light carolina rigs, plastic swimbaits, texas rigged worms, and senkos. Good all around rod.

From: Adam: Bowling Green, KY

Comments: awesome rod!! i have the 6'6'' MH jig n worm and it is very nice, great tip action, very sensative but yet strong. i had an abu before this and that broke so i got the st criox and its way better, its almost as good as my Fenwick!! deffinently the best rod out there for the price.

From: Cole: Boscobel, WI

Comments: i just got the 6 foot 6 inch medium action and I got it paired up with the orra sx and I just LOVE IT

From: Matt: Chicago, IL

Comments: I have 8 different mojo's so far. The jerkbait rod is awesome and very versatile for any jerkbait or shallow crankbait when fishing close quarters. The crankbait rod is super sensitive and one of my favorite's too.The flippin rod is a beast and will rip giants out of the "salad" no problem. The topwater rod has the perfect action for walking spooks. The frog rod is a tough rod and will rip any bass out of the pads easily  but it is to tip heavy and cannot walk the frog very well with it. The cranksta feels awesome fishing traps over grass.Just bought the plastics rod today. They have a rod for any and every application and fish better than  any of my more expensive rods. I have sold alot of my more expensive rods and actually upgraded with a less expensive Mojo rod.

From: Jeff: FL

Comments: Great rod but not as light as the veritas but it seems more durable and not as stiff.

Comments: BEST ROD FOR THE PRICE PERIOD! Tried $170 poles and I can honestly say that i prefer using this pole then other poles. GREAT BUY! Next time i will stay with st. croix!

From: Meng: WI

Comments: Picked up the 7'9" Heavy for some bigger swimbaits. Didn't get it from TW - super hard to find rod, but absolutely worth it. There is not a single rod on the market that can match this in any category. You will NOT find a rod that can handle 1-4oz for such a low price, period. It is massive, it is heavy - 7'9" does not mess around. But it also amazingly sensitive. My goal was to find a swimbait rod that I would be able to easily cast from my Coleman Crawdad. 7'9" is a bit longer than I would have liked, so it does take some getting used to. I paired this rod with an Abu Garcia Record (LH) and 65lb/ test Power Pro braid. I can cast accurately, far, and the backbone of this thing is so rigid, combined with the lack of stretch on the line and my Trokar hooks, that I exert very little effort in a hookset. I highly recommend this rod to anyone that can get their hands on it. You will not be dissapointed.

From: Sam: Mansfield, MA

Comments: I don't understand the strange allegiance everyone seems to have with Abu Garcia. I've held/ used different variants of St. Croix and Abu Garcia and St. Croix wins. Mojo Bass > Veritas. Loved the 6'6 MH Jig n' Worm model! Great on a Lew's Speed Spool!!!

From: Evin: Newnan, GA

Comments: I own the drop shot rod and just ordered the crankbait.  Super sensitive, great in the hand feel and looks sweet.

From: Greg: Mass

Comments: I bought the 6'6" med/jerkbait model for a crankbait rod.  I prefer a little more backbone to my crankin' rods than most fisherman.  I'm not a big fan of the long 7'6" , super whippy, parabollic rods; just don't have the room in my small boat. This jerkbait model is ideal for short to medium range casts with med to deep diving crankbaits.  I thought the price was a little high, but if the quality gives you enough durability, the rod is worth the extra cost. I also bought the 6'6" med-hvy for flippin' & spinnerbaits.  This model works fine also.

From: John: Lexington, NY

Comments: I have the 7 ft. medium action Plastics rod. Very well balanced with the Revo SX. Not only is this rod prime for light T-Rigs and Stick baits. I have found it extremely effective with squarebill crankbaits. I would recomend 12 pound test Sunline Super Natural mono. THe line stretch makes the rod action fine for CB's   getcha one!!!

From: Logan

Comments:  I have the 7'11" flippin rod and it is decent. Kinda heavy but has good backbone. Seems to be fairly tough as I left it in the rod holder on my boat and nailed the top 6-8 inches of the rod on the overhang of a drive threw and it was unscathed. As for the pitchin rod and the slop-n-frog rod I watched one get broken while pulling on the line to test the action and the other had the same thing happen all before catching a fish on either rod. I have mixed feelings about the rods but all I own is the flippin stick and it hasnt done me wrong.

From: Mike: Sebastian, FL

Comments: I Have the 7' Med Hvy and i love it. Great price, even better price. Will be getting more soon!

From: Samuel: Crystal, MN

Comments: i just got my slop-n-frog for flipping-n-pitching and this thing is a beast! cant wait to be pulling out the big ones on kissimee!! yall gotta get one of these!

Comments: Just bought an Abu Garcia Veritas 7' rod today and snapped at the tip first time using it on the water. I went back and got the Mojo 6'6 Jig n Worm and it works great. Good tip action, comfortable grip, great appearance, and presents jigs and worms just as good as any other rod out there.

From: New York

Comments: Love my Big Crankster Mojo Glass Rod.  To those commenting about the weight and size, that is the nature of a glass rod vs Graphite. The Mojo Glass still has great backbone and the sensitivity is very good as well.   Very pleased with my Big Crankster.  I have previously owned the MBC70MF (plastics rod), and it was also a very nice setup.

From: Eugene: Wheeling, IL

Comments: I got to use this rod side by side with the abu garcia veritas i like the mojo alot better its more senseitve better looking and better quaility

From: Iowa, US

Comments: Wish the grip was longer but that is the only complaint. Awesome rods!

From: Danny: Milan, TN

Comments: These are alright rods. They have good flex to them alright back bone but they are a little heavy. They way like the average skeet reese rod. You get what you pay for but they are not a powell rod or a Shimano. I would give them a seven out of ten.

From: James: Somewhere, TN

Comments: These rods are great.  They ARE lighter than the Veritas, the slop/frog model is lighter than the Veritas 1/4-1oz and not nearly as tip heavy.  IMO there isn't a better rod for the money, 10x better than the Skeet or Veritas.  Good quality and have caught a bunch of big fish on mine, I abuse them frogging, pitching, and punching and they've held up great.  When I get the money I'm going to be switching all my rods over to Mojo's!

Comments: Brought this home and less than an hour it broke! I was only bending the upper portion slightly to test the action and snap! The first twelve inches broke. Good thing I didn't have a personal best bass on the line when it broke. I'm taking it back and getting a Abu Garcia Veritas that's lighter than the Mojo anyway. Buyer beware.

From: Larrick: Washington State

Comments: I first got the med-heavy cranking and med. plastics rod and can't say enough of this great rods. I had to go for more. Very good rods!!!

From: Charlie: Trenton, NJ

Comments: Just got the cranking rod and Im impressed great rod for the price.

From: Lance: Livingston, TX

Comments: I own 2 of these rods including the slop n frog, and plastics.  My plastics rod has a shimano caenan for small topwaters as well as plastics.  The slop n Frog has a citica for frogs and flipping.  I Find them to be alittle top heavy but for frogging my rod is usually down anyways.  OVerall, they are great rods for the price offered and have served me well.   The plastics rod is great for little poppers and spooks with 12lb mono.

From: Grant: Wappingers Falls, NY

Comments: Great rod worth the money sensative i recomend the jig and worm

From: Stone: Indiana, USA

Comments:  Got the Spinnerbait rod.  Found it WAY too tip heavy for my liking.  But after getting it balanced (took nearly 2.5 oz of lead to do!)  it fishes like a dream!!

From: David: Sauk Centre, MN

Comments: I have the 7' medium plastic series rod and I love it I can throw Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, dropshot rigs, and even wacky and even weightless Texas rigged soft jerk baits this rod is perfect for basically every type of plastic. The only problem is that the tip got loose once but I fixed it other then that no problems

From: Thomas: Chicago, IL

Comments: Great rod, extremely light.

From: Daniel: NC

Comments: great rod very light only problem is only 5 year warranty where my duckett rod has 20

From: Texas

Comments: This rod is a little tip heavy and not very sensitive. If you only want to spend around $100 I would recommend the Abu Garcia Veritas.

From: Michael: Long Island, NY

Comments: This is a great rod, i just purchased one not to long ago, it is the "Slop-n-frog" rod. I throw frogs, swimbaits, and flip with it. Can't go wrong for the price. Best rod i've ever used.

From:

Comments:Great rods for the price. I've got the spinnerbait, crankbait, and jig-n-worm rods. All 3 rods work great for each application. The only negatice in my mind, is with the crankbait rod. It works great for the majority of my crankbaits except for my deep divers. I love it for all my shallow and medium depth cranks, but I prefer to use my quantum energy rod for deep cranking.

From:Dan: West Virginia, USA

Comments:Great Rods and lighter than the Skeet Reese rods.

From: New York, USA

Comments:Ordered the 7ft. med hvy.,"spinnersbait model... Great rod for the money!!! Would like to order the 7-6 heavy for flippin the med hvy isn't enough.

From:Dewey: Englewood, FL

Comments:Excellent family of rods. I own the Tube & Grub Spinning rod, the Topwater, Plastics, Spinnerbait, Slop & Frog and 7'6" Flippin Casting rods. I use these with Shimano Curado reels and the ABU Inshore on the Flippin rod in saltwater. With two applications of Flexcoat these rods are suitable for saltwater use. Same lure waits and line specifications as the Legend Tournement rods. Maybe not quite as sensitive however, not quite as pricy either. St.Croix, you have done it again!

From:Pat: Toms River, NJ

Comments:These rods are incredible for the price. I own the Jig and worm/ Swimbait/ Crankbait rods and they all perform flawless. Have never had any problems with any components failing either.

From:Jay: West Palm Beach, FL

Comments:Mediocre Rod at best, the only good thing about it is it's lightweight and good looks, witnessed one break at the tip and mine had the guide fall out of the top eyelet, you get what you pay for.

From:Zach: Michigan, USA

Comments:Truley a great rod for the money. I would highly recomend investing in one of these rods.

From: USA

Comments:Excellent rod for the money. I have plenty of expensive rods that I paid a whole lot more that do not have the feel of this rod. The rod fits good in your hands and is well balanced. I put a Shimano Calais reel on it and it is the perfect marriage. I am going to order a couple more of these rods at this price.

From:William: Hohenwald, TN

Comments:Great rod for under $100! I own the med-hvy crankbait model, great moderate action and light weight. I like it as well as my Legend Tournament rod! I definitely want to purchase more rods from this line.

From:Thomas: Ohio, USA

Comments:Great Rod for the price! Though its not as sensitive as higher end offerings, it's a great deal.

From:Gerard:New York, NY

Comments:The best rod I have ever owned, I got the spinnerbait rod last month. I just ordered 5 more casting and two spinning.

From:Randy: Kelso, WA

Comments:This rod is awesome! I throw my swim baits with these rods and have no problem casting my big 2 oz trout swim bait.

From:Jesse: Phoenix, AZ

Comments:These rods are every bit as sensitive as a GLoomis for a fraction of the price. As a tournament angler I have used a lot of different rods, but these are now my new partners when the money is on the line.

We want medium action rods that won't tear out hooks but not a noodle rod that can't set a hook or move a big bass. Many companies are forced to use fiberglass for their cranking rods because it is very difficult to design a 100% graphite rod that has the right action and power with out collapsing under pressure and shattering with a big fish on the line.
