No shortcuts were taken with the St. Croix Mojo Glass Crankbait Rods. Boasting premium SC1 Glass Blanks with 100% linear S-glass that is stronger, lighter, higher in modulus, and also more expensive than E-Glass - the Mojo Glass Rods deliver the technique-specific moderate actions ideal for fishing crankbaits and other reaction baits.

High quality components, like Batson Forecast Hard Aluminum-Oxide Guides with double-plated black chrome frames and Fuji ECS Reel Seats, further accentuate the rods’ performance, and split grip handles with premium-grade cork grips furnish superior balance and comfort. Lightweight and fully loaded, the St. Croix Mojo Glass Cranking Rods have what it takes to crank up the big ones - at a surprisingly affordable price.

  • The Avid Series casting rods from St. Croix are the rods bass anglers have been dreaming about. These rods deliver strength, durability, and a light-weight rod all in one package that will keep anyone from showing up at dinner time.
  • These blanks are 100% high-modulus SCIII graphite that have been designed to give the perfect medium crankbait action, plenty of hooksetting and fish fighting power and the ability to cast a crankbait as far as you could want. Proudly made in the USA.
  • Designed for the serious angler who demands high performance and value from their rods,  the St Croix Avid X Series Casting Rods feature St. Croix’s classic SC III graphite blanks combined with their proprietary IPC tooling technology.

  • New

Built to meet the demands of serious anglers without breaking the bank, the St. Croix Bass X Casting Rods redefine what anglers should expect from a $100 bass rod.

  • The St. Croix Legend Tournament rods will give you every advantage you can get from your equipment. There is a reason anglers who have discovered the fine quality and American made craftsmanship of St. Croix rods are a dedicated group.

  • 2012 ICAST Winner - Best of Show Freshwater Rod Series - the St. Croix Legend Xtreme Spinning Rods are the extremely sensitive and powerful top-of-the-line rods from St. Croix loaded with all the features and technologies they have at their disposal.

  • One of St. Croix's most popular rod series year-after-year, the St. Croix Premier Series Casting Rods are handcrafted in the US to deliver a winning blend of performance and value that every angler can appreciate.

  • Anyone who throws crankbaits knows it takes the right rod to really be effective. We want medium action rods that won't tear out hooks but not a noodle rod that can't set a hook or move a big bass. Many companies are forced to use fiberglass for their cranking rods because it is very difficult to design a 100% graphite rod that has the right action and power with out collapsing under pressure and shattering with a big fish on the line.

Comments: Got the 7'4" Medium about a year ago. Paired with a Shimano Curado as a great crankbait combo. I use this mostly for 3/8 through 5/8 oz crankbaits. I find this glass rod is great for this purpose. This is one of three rods I have in the Mojo Bass series. Have been very satisfied with all three and intend to purchase another soon.

Comments: AMAZING ROD!!! Words can't explain how good this rod is. I have the 6'10" Medium. I have it paired up with a daiwa tatula and it makes a great combo for squarebills and shallow cranks.

Comments: i would recommend this rod to ANYBODY, it is the perfect rod for crank baits and chatterbaits, i have 2 7'3 med.hev. One with 12 flouro for squarebills and the other with 20lb flouro for chatterbaits, man what a rod, I've abused them so much constantly dropping them and have accident whacked the trolling motor with it before and no breaks yet and i use then almost every day on big strong florida bass, this rod is especially good on the price point!

Comments: I bought the 7'8" big crankster. Great rod, great feel, great price. Have it paired with a revo winch, my 3rd croix purchase. Will be making more.

From: Josh: Guntown, MS 11/22/14

Comments: St. Croix makes some of the nicest rods on the market today. With that said, I really like the price point of the Mojo line. I own 2 of the casting rods and I owned 1 of the spinning rods. 1 of the casting rods is the 'Target Crankster' 6'10" Glass rod. I love throwing squarebills on this rod! I feel everything and its soft enough that it absorbs a lot of the rebound shock without losing too much backbone. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get a cranking rod that isn't going to break the bank, get one of these mojo bass glass cranking rods, you won't regret it!

Comments: I've owned this rod for about 3 months now and I couldn't be happier if your a budget fisherman like myself and want to get a good quality product with a affordable price range look no further the loadout feels amazing and I love the way it moves with fish to keep those tiny treble hooks pinned in the sensitivity feels great and have it paired up with a lews tournament pro I have the 6'10 target cranker for my sqaurebill and rattle traps couldnt be any happier without a doubt you'll enjoy this rod purchase as much as I did will be picking up more soon tightlines!

From: Marc: TX 3/25/14

Comments: I have the 6/10 Target Cranker and used it for this first time this past weekend. I have to say I was very impressed. For a glass rod it is very light. I paired it with a Daiwa Lexa reel and 16 lb Seagar line and it was great for throwing a KVD 1.5 even into a stiff wind. It does lack a bit on the sensitivity if you are use to graphite rods like myself. I give it a big thumbs up and it is now my new small square bill rod.

Comments: Just got this rod a few weeks ago and could not be happier ,i got the 7 ft med plastics rod and caught a 5 pounder today with it on a yum dinger wacky rigged , do not hesitate to buy this rod its a fantastic rod for the price .

Comments: I have the 7' 4" and let me just say this is by far the best crankbait rod I have ever used. First time I ever fished with it I caught a 9lb and 10.5 lb bass, the first time! It handled them with ease never once felt like it was going to break or anything. The guy who asked if they would fish square bills the 9 and 10 I caught were on square bills and that is what I mainly use on mine. I have it matched with the optimus XT and they work like they were made to go together. Extremely sensitive, I can feel the fish before I even start to set the hook. A little heavy, but it is a glass rod. For the money this is an awesome rod!

From: Cassidy: Auburn, AL

Comments: Great rods for the money. As an entry level tournament fisherman I am not looking to spend the money for higher end rods but feel like with these rods I'm getting that higher level quality at a lower end price. Plus you cant beat the St.Croix warranty! Have the 7'4" and love it, would like to add the new 6'10" to my arsenal.

From: Justin: MN

Comments: I would like to be able to use squarebills and deep divers. Will the 7' 4" work for deep divers too?

From: Tyler: Alabama, USA

Comments: Just got this rod in and it's better than I'd imagined! Light, sensitive and the color is really well balanced. Good buy for anybody that doesn't want to break the bank. Want to say thanks to TW for super fast shipping as well!

From: Garret: TN

Comments: Amazing rod. Have the 7'4" Medium paired with the Abu Revo S. Doesn't wear me out when I'm trapping, casts a mile, and even being as soft as it is, I can still feel every tick of a crankbait. Got another one on my to-buy list for the winter. Highly recommended. Another money shot from St. Croix. Completely satisfied with their rods.

From: Caleb: IN

Comments: Awesome rods, I own both and have been very happy with them. I do hope they will make one a bit lighter for shallow square bills though.

From: Kevin: WI

Comments: I have been throwing 6xds,dd22s,and fat free shad with my big crankster and a curado. Awesome setup and an awesome price!

From: Danny: Milan, TN

Comments: Purchased the 7'8" MH very happy with this purchase,  has great sensitivity for a glass rod, good backbone as well.  Perfect for Deep Divers and 3/4 oz lipless   Will likely order the 7'4" cranking rod as well for 1/2 oz Lipless cranks

From: Eugene: Wheeling, IL

Comments: Purchased this as my first glass crankbait rod, and I hardly ever lose fish with this.  I have thrown lipless crankbaits and squarebills on the 7'4'' and I couldn't ask for more.  I own 5 Mojo Bass rods, and this one performs just as well as all of them.  Plus, it has a 5 year warrranty!

From: Tim: Northern, Kentucky
