Comments: This is a very impressive sunshield hat. Here's my experience with it. I bought two hats, one for my father-in-law and one for me. We're the typical weekend fishing warriors who fishes in the hot sun in the central California lakes for rainbow trout and bass from the break of morning until 3pm in the afternoon. When wearing this out, I have noticeably gotten less mosquito bites (practically none because they couldn't get through the hat), if any bites at all whenever I wear this hat. It sits comfortably on my head, although I've had a couple of instances where the wind almost blew it off my head. Other than that, a very likeable feature is that this hat feels very light compared to any other hats. This hat also protects very well against the sun, and I haven't gotten any sunburns around my head whenever I wear it. Overall, I am very pleased with this hat and I would highly recommend it. Sure it makes you look funny but the benefits outweigh the silliness.
