Overview
Now featuring Stick Jacket’s new SKINNY TIP, which replaces the previous grommet tip, it helps reduce rod tip damage and makes it easier to get rods into your rod locker. Using a proprietary Tri-Shrink Process, the dual-wall material is secured with heat activated adhesive. The thicker material is tougher and will resist the damage better than other rod sleeves, and the heat activated adhesive locks the tip in place and will not slip or fall off.

Stick jackets are made of a tough polyethylene filament that is virtually impervious to salt as well as resistant to mold and mildew. The braided material behaves like the old "Chinese finger trap" gripping your rod for snug protection and ease of hanging for storage.

Comments: Great rod sock. Bought these for 9-10' musky rods. Diameter is plenty big enough for larger casting guides. On a 10' St Croix Legend Tournament the sleeve comes past the bottom eyelet 6-8". Longest rod sock available that I know of. They do not have a elastic strap built in though. Ordered separate rod sock straps from tackle warehouse. Material is thick enough that eyelets do not poke through. Will order more in the future if needed.

Comments: Great product and I have them on all my setups. Once you invest in quality gear gotta protect it to make it last. Much better product than some other look alikes. Some of the knock offs have issues with the eyes/tip sticking through the weavings, not with the stick jacket, it has to do with the tension of the weave, others fall apart.

Comments:If you have a 7'4 rod or bigger you need the XL version. These things rock!! I don't like the spinning version though. Its tough going on the last eye and the tip.

Comments:I use the Stick Jacket for ALL my rods! G-Loomis rods are pricy and I like to keep them in good condition! This is the best and the price is right on! Go to the the website http://www.stickjacket.com and you will find that you will pay MORE for these jackets than here! AND if you spend more than $50 bucks here...FREE SHIPPING! Awesome! I LOVE this place!

Comments:I like this product better than any other rod cover used. On a Carolina rig, the inherent containment of the Stick Jacket, eliminates wrapping the weight/line around my rod and eyelets. TW has been rightfully pushing/selling the advantages of longer rods. The longer version XL will slide over the unbaited jig/hook and offers safety for my seven foot baitcast rods in my storage box. Another plus is the easy/fast on/off.
