Designed to the specifications of legendary professional angler, Kevin VanDam, the Strike King HC KVD Splash offers a devastating combination of spitting, chugging, and walking. Its narrow nose allows the angler to easily produce an amazing walking action and its cupped mouth provides a substantial surface commotion that bass have trouble resisting. Built entirely with quality components, the Strike King HC KVD Splash features 3D eyes, a feathered treble hook for a natural action, and an incredibly realistic paint job – all at a competitive price point that won’t hurt the billfold. Comments: My tournament partner has been a topwater guru for many years. This year I had a KVD splash in my box & I finally started throwing it. After winning the first tourney of the year with it, I bought 2 more. It was catching just as many fish as his Yellow Magic ($17 popper). It has a great chug and spits as well. It has that classic 'bloop' sound. I throw the Summer Sexy Shad no matter where I am at. Smallies here in Michigan tear it up! This lure has won me some good money this season. Highly recommended!

Comments: This is my go-to topwater bait by far, I've caught so many fish on it, I'm probably going to lose one of my thumbs because this bait just catches them! They are very durable, hooks are great, walks easy, always pops nicely. Will buy again.

Comments: Love the bait, but the hooks seem to be cheap, caught several bass in the 2 lbs. range and when taking off the hook with needle nose pliers, the hook has broken off from the set of the treble hook. This has happen twice, the one with the tail feathers and the on in the front.

Comments: The KVD Splash would be my "go to" top water lure. From the original pop, to walking this bait, the action is great. You can control this lure very well. Throw it in lakes to rivers to ponds and you'll be sure to catch fish no problem. I love these lures.

Comments: awesome bait, get summer sexy shad. I used this before topwater bite was on and first cast caught a bass and second cast lost it to a pike. the trick is not to walk it, give it a short snap and wait for the ripples to go away and then give a quick pulling motion and then repeat

Comments: Great Bait just fished in a tournament this weekend, caught a limit within minutes. Walks very well and I love how you can control the size of the pops so easily. Great bait I suggest the chrome blue or clear water minnow/

Comments: this bait is pretty dissapointing. Doesnt walk very well and i dont care for the popping action. Spare yourself the frustration and buy a zell pop.

Comments: I used the big size, not impressed at all. Nose kept trying to dive under the surface.
