Tough and consistent.I use this for my larger swimbaits and it's strong, responsive, and hasn't failed me yet. That being said it's got some bad memory. I re-tie constantly and it works for me but I think it could be because of my habits.

Previous Feedback

Comments: I'm actually surprised. I've been using 20# for lighter pitching and flipping. Although this stuff isn't as stiff as Sunlines premium offerings, the cast-ability, longevity and overall durability won me over, most  particularly from its price point. It's decent line and when properly knotted, has given me better than average results.

From: Johnnie: Washington 12/19/20

Comments: This in not a good fluorocarbon, not even for the price. I have broken off with line many times and it's not for wind knots.

From: Bruce 11/4/20

Comments:Best casting 10lb line I've ever used, better than assassin, better than sniper. It's my new go to line for jerkbaits. No breakoffs to date. Holds up well around hardwood and cedars. It's worth it. 10lb Casts better than mono, seriously.

From: Unknown: 4/10/20

Comments: Good line for the price, I've been fishing this for about 2 weeks and this is good stuff I only have one setup the common 7ft med-heavy and its kept up well I caught 7 fish 6 large mouth and one small striped bass and needed a re-tie bad after.
Pros-its durable and pretty invisable and its good line.
Cons-It is pretty memory prone it like the shape of your reel and it also after a few fish it kinks and shapes a little weird.
Aside from that its amazing for the price and sunline has done it again, good line for a good price

From: Unknown: 4/9/20

Comments: I have been using this line for a hot second now and I must say this amazing its not as sensitive as sniper but it is just amazing for 16 dollars.
Pros-its 15.99, it casts so smooth, it very sensitive for just again 15.99
Cons- It frays somewhat easily and but I also caught 7 fish back to back so I'm not sure if thats the problem but other then that this line is well worth it.

From: Unknown: 4/8/20

Comments:I used this for my leader line and tied strong Albright knots. On both casts both of my knots broke and it definitely wasn't my tying. I would not recommend this as leader line.

From:Alec: Newaygo 8/3/19

Comments:Had this line on for a couple months everything working good. All of the sudden almost every time I cast I get a huge knot in my line from a fluorocarbon line that is supposed to be no memory. Don't waste your money on it.

From:Unknown: 7/29/19

Comments:I bought this on a whim just because of who makes it, and my first outing with it I was very impressed.Caught many fish pitching and casting jigs and managed to catch a 3.8 after pitching it to a lay down, getting the jig hung hard on the laydown, and after three shakes of the rod I felt the line pull back.I was worried about nicks and breaking off a good fish, but not a nick in the line, and never respooled that reel the rest of the season and I was never worried about sticking a fish anywhere knowing this line holds up.

From: John:Montgomery 1/18/19

Comments:Threw this line in 20 lb for chatterbaits for the last month and its been put through LOTS of abuse, like being thrown in lily pads and thick needle grass and reeds, getting snagged up and pulling straight back and getting baits out. Never has broken and I do not see it happening. If you're on a budget and cant afford Shooter Or FC Sniper than definitely do not be scared to purchase this line.

From: Unknown 4/16/18

Comments:I was looking for some cheap 25lb. Fluoro to flip with... um this ain't it. It's thin for 25 imo and it's not that abrasion resistant, but it seems like decent line just don't flip it in a pine tree.

From: D:Nc 4/15/18

Comments:There are two quality budget flourocarbons on the market today. One is this line and one is Seaguar Red Label. For all purposes, once you get to 15lb and above they are almost identical in performance (it's hard to break 15-25lb flouro regardless). If you want to fish the lighter stuff, here's what you need to know:

Sunline Super is slightly thicker in diameter and has the better abrasion resistance. It has more memory than the Seaguar Red. If you are gonna fish trees and gnarly rock on lighter line without being able to respool every couple trips, this is your huckleberry.

Seaguar Red is thinner, limper, and also less abrasion resistant. I like it more for reaction techniques where I'm going to end up changing out my line every few trips if it's getting a workout. But more so than the Sunline, you have to check your line often if you get around the thick stuff.

Both get milky white after serious use, though it doesn't effect their strength per see. You still need to check your line and tie a good San Diego Jam with lots of lubrication.

From:Chris - Lancaster 12/27/17

Comments:I can't that I'm very impressed. The 14 pound test was quite a bit Thicker than I was thinking which in the water I fish doesn't matter to much. The problem I have is line kinks and memory. I was throwing the 1/2 ounce live target shad swimbaitnwhich is not out of the norm for this line I don't think personally and I got to the end of the cast and it just snapped. Luckily i was able to retrieve the line and bait. At first I thought I had a backlash that caught but after going through everything it looked normal so I am not sure what happened. I'll be ordering a higher grade next time or a different brand.

From: Chris: Houston, texas 7/28/17

Comments:Great line very strong I use the 16 & 20lb my only complaint is that it coils up like a spring!! Treat it with the line conditioner and what I do is stretch it really good and that will take some out! Anxious to try the Sniper!

From: Clayton: Petal, MS 2/5/17

Comments:Cheap fluorocarbon but you get what you pay for. Strength is ok but hard to handle, gets stiff & coils very bad. Have had a couple breaks on the hook set at the knot. Never had this happen with Red Label or vicious pro elite. It can be managed with some KVD Line conditioner & performs ok after soaking overnight. If your going cheap try some Red Label for smoothness, strength & castability. If you want strength & sensitivity go with Vicious pro elite.

Comments:There is nothing wrong with this stuff. Would I use it when money is on the line? Sure, since it hasn't let me down after two years...

From: Jay6: USA 9/17/15

Comments:If this line performs like it did for me today, it will be the only flouro I ever use. I fish So Cal bays for spotted bay bass and sand bass. I had been using some of the Spiderwire ez flouro, but after breaking 6 fish off on my last trip due to rock piles, I decided to upgrade. I'm too cheap to buy the high-end Sunline so I thought I would give this a try since I figured it couldn't be any worse than Spiderwire. Spooled my reels with this in 12 lb test and was not disappointed. A corvina wrapped me around a barnacle covered piling, eventually pulled it loose and landed the fish. Line barely had any nicks on it. Caught a few spotties, including my personal best, as well as my first ever halibut. Never had to retie and in my opinion this line actually casts better than the the Spiderwire "ez" flouro does, which surprised me. I'm a little skeptical of the bad reviews about this line, especially ones that knock it for castability. I'm a believer in this line.

From:Jason: CA 6/19/15

Comments:Been using this line for a few years now. it is the best "cheaper" fluoro i have ever fished, and it has better abrasion resistance and is more castable than other more expensive lines i have tried. You can cast the 20# very well unlike seaguar red label. it is a good line especially for the price. i have it in 14, 16, and 20#. to say red label is better than sunline super is laughable. also, being gentle when picking backlashes is imperative with all fluorocarbon line.

From: Flattown Basser: 1/16/15

Comments:If you're going cheap go seaguar red label. Sunline makes the best high end lines on the market no doubt about that but their super flourocarbon is about on part with spiderwire EZ flouro and that is not good.

From: RJD: Lewistown, PA 7/11/14

Comments:I bought this line because my friends said that they loved it. I used it on a good reel and it made me constantly backlash and when I would pull it out the line would snap. Worst line I've ever used.

From: Hunter: USA 6/30/14

Comments:I bought this line during the BOGO to try it but, do not like it. I had a little bird nest and peeled some line out to clear it and some of it tangled to a small brush, I pulled to clear the line off the twig and the line broke off! And it was 14 lb. test, broke like 6 lb. test of other brands. Not impressed at all,I like the FC sniper a lot but this is bad quaity line.

From: Charlie: Trenton NJ USA

Comments:I know a lot of people love sunline but I for one don't. Bought a reel from my buddy that was spooled with some so I thought I'd try it, ended up breaking off on two fish in a tournament. I won't make that mistake again.

From: Tristan: Hoover, AL

Comments: if yall think this is strong yall need to try seaguar red label. I bought a spool of this and did a few tests on knot strength and abrasion resistance and it failed completely. I broke 20lb with my bare hands. Red label I can barely break with my drag locked down, and all my weight on it. I took all 3 spools back.

From: Bryan: TX

Comments:Sure this is not as Limp as Fc sniper or cast as smoothly .But this line has exactly what i wanted in it.Strength for pitching a jig and pulling the fish out of cover. It is a thicker line than sniper so it does handle differently but i have no complaints.Still cast a great distance with a 3/8 oz jig and pretty resistant to abrasion. For now on if i am bottom fishing this line gets the Nod but if i am throwing cranks or reactions then Fc sniper is the ticket

From: Chris: KY

Comments:I liked it so much that I will be feeling all my finesse rods with this super strong line. Now I know I can depend on it when fighting a big fish.

From: Hans: Mexico

Comments:i used this line on two rods all of last year and liked it so much it is now on all of my rods. I have yet to whiff on a hookset or break off during a fight. i have been using the 12# on cranks, 14 and 16# for general purpose, and 20# for flipping. i can't complain about it. now, it doesn't like the palomar knot, and but neither does any other fluorocarbon. learn how to tie a uni knot with the line passed through the eye twice correctly, and you will never have problems when using fluoro.

From:Flattown Basser: LA

Comments: used the 14lb on a chatterbait and caught a 6lb 11oz female, fished through wood tullies and grass, this line outperforms other high end fluorocarbons. Highly reccommend!!!!!

From: Tommy: So. AZ

Comments: Not durable at all always I have broken off on about a third of the fish that I have hooked with this line and trust me it is not user error. Save up for sniper it is wayyyyyy better.

From: Sam: Charlotte, NC, USA

Comments:i used the 16 and 20 pound this past season with great results, no break-offs. the 20 is a little stiff compared to other 20 pound fluoros i have used but it still casts very well. the 16 is great. not much memory at all and casts well. abrasion resistance seems fine. knot strength seems to be fine. this line is way better than red label seaguar and better than any vanish line.

From: Hawg Lord: LA

Comments:Best line I've ever used! I can't imagine what the FC Sniper is like. This line is so very thin and smooth. I fished some very rocky points catching lots of fish with a heavy football jig and some 14 pound test. The knot lasted all day, i never backlashed, casting distance is great. No complaints

From: Tristen: NC

Comments: a great line to try if you are new to this brand, which rocks the house, BTW. Ive never tried it on spinning gear so I cant comment there, but this stuff is legit. No, not the best line Sunline makes, but it's better than what you is usin now, ya dig?

From: meatwad: frontin

Comments: I purchased a 14 lb.& 20 lb. roll. right off the spool the 14 lb. throws extremely easy, by far the easiest flouro i have ever used, i also tried the 20 lb. it was a little stiff to begin with but after a couple dozen cast it settled down and i forgot i was throwing 20 lb. i wll never try any other brand, i see why the pros use it. could only image a more expensive grade. this grade fits my price.. i use the san diego jam knot and have no knot issues. just ordered a 16 lb roll today awesome line!!!!

From: Michael: Meadville, MS

Comments: This line is really great. It casts like a dream, strong, sensitive, and low memory, yet at a reasonably good price! Pick a spool up, and you will not regret it one bit!

From: CC: USA

Comments: I do get line twist, if I throw something weightless, no biggie for me the positives outweigh the negatives!!! This line is sublet, super super strong, and very sensitive.. I have had to cut my line two times when hung up bc I could not break off, I even opened up a 3/0 worm hook on a hook set.

From: Brett: NY

Comments: This line is sweet! low memory, very smooth casting, strong and sensetive... you will not find a better flourocarbon for this price! i will buy alot more!

From: Kevin: Moscow, TN

Comments: This line is okay for the money...however, considering you have to replace it often, you may as well just buy sniper. The abrasion resistance of this line is subpar at best.

From: JB: TX

Comments:this stuff is awesome!!!!! been usin 20lb for flippin, pitchin, and jigs and i must say, im impressed. super tough, sensitive, and the diameter to pound test is awesome! i was using vicious pro elite and its great, it really is but sunline just has it all together in every way. dont be affraid of the price, this stuff is amazing!

From: Matt: Fresno, CA

Comments: Great Line!!! I was apprehensive about the low price but after using it all my fears are gone. Line is a little stiff, I am using 20lbs btw. Line is very sensitive and strong. I had several backlash using the reel but after picking them out the line came back unscathed, unlike the Seaguar Invizx, which would often break. Overall the experience with this particular line exceeds my expectation.

From: David: Murrieta

Comments: Best fluorocarbon for the price. Sniper FC does last longer though.

From: Tayler: Valdosta, GA

Comments: This line works great!! Used it at Clearlake last weekend for crankin & flippin. Has a little bigger diameter then the snipper, but for the price you can't go wrong:)
