Comments: These are very well made and include a swivel in the shaft of the line tie loop to prevent line twist. I like the fact that its weight is marked on its side. Thanks to Marcel's review, I now tie a snap on the bottom of my line to make changing of weights faster and more convenient. Another advantage of the snap is not losing any length of line when changing weights, which saves time retying when the line to the weight gets too short if you trim instead. Also, when stowing or transporting the rod with the drop shot rig set up, you can simply remove the weight so it doesn't cause problems swinging around or require a special tie down. To be sure that I only lose the weight if it gets snagged on the bottom, I tie the snap on with a weaker knot which I accomplish by using only one or two wraps for a knot that typically calls for six or more wraps.
