TFO Gary Loomis Tactical Casting Rods - $149.99 to $159.99
Lighter. More Sensitive. Affordable. By utilizing a new proprietary scrim in conjunction with Temple Fork Outfitter's high modulus carbon fiber blank material, legendary rod designer, Gary Loomis, was able to save weight and increase sensitivity - all without sacrificing strength. The TFO Gary Loomis Tactical Casting Rod blanks are tastefully finished and polished with a thin layer of matte clear coat to enhance the natural luster of the fibers, and proprietary Tactical Series Guides with stainless steel inserts and frames also offer advanced, super slick, saltwater safe performance, and are 30% lighter than standard SiC guides. Available in a wide range of lengths and actions for a variety of bass fishing applications, the TFO Gary Loomis Tactical Casting Rods still feature TFO's trademark color ID split grip handle for easy identification at a glance, and each rod is further complimented by a two-piece reel seat and a natural cork ring split grip.

Comments: I've had a 7'3" heavy (maroon colored) for a couple years now. It's fast action is true, has quick response and good sensitivity. It flexes very deep for a heavy action rod. I've used it with braid for flippin and topwater. This rod is hands down my favorite, it's parabolic bend feels like it's going to snap, but after winching in hundreds of fish through thick mats and yanking them outta flooded timber, I think this rod is made out of magic. Idk about the other powers, but heavy action one is perfect. U could use it for anything.

Comments: I purchased the 7'-11" model from a local shop to use for flipping grass mats for $169.00. The second fish I hooked, the tip broke. I expected the rod to perform better than that with the backing of Gary Loomis. I checked the warranty and they want $30 to ship a new rod. Really???? I would have $200 dollars tied up in a rod that failed miserably. I think I'll take my buisness elsewhere.

Comments: I would recommend these rods to any angler looking for a great rod! I used the 7'3"H with jigs in 20 ft of water and can feel more with this TFO rod than I can with my ($500) 7'3"NRX rod! I know there's a lot of NRX believers out there at $500 a rod, but this rod will make you forget about the $500 price tag for a NRX. These TFO Tactical rods are very lightweight and great to fish with. The 7'3"MH is slightly softer than a standard MH rod but works absolutely great! I have yet to miss a fish with these rods. The 7'3"M is a GREAT trap, square bill, and topwater rod. This rod weighs in under 4 ozs...... Give these a try, you will not be disappointed.
