TFO Gary Loomis Tactical Cranking Rods - $149.99 to $159.99
Designed specifically for cranking, the TFO Gary Loomis Tactical Cranking Rods offer advanced technique specific performance at a reasonable price. By utilizing a new proprietary scrim in conjunction with Temple Fork Outfitter’s high modulus carbon fiber blank material, legendary rod designer, Gary Loomis, was able to save weight and increase sensitivity without sacrificing strength, and still offer the parabolic actions and moderate tapers you need for fishing crankbaits. Comments: the TFO rod does not cost $500.00 and no it is not marketed to be an NRX type rod...but guess what. I have 4 NRX rods and I am really wondering now if I made a bad choice spending in excess of 2,000.00 of hard earned money opposed to buying these. I did just that. I bought a TFO. People let me tell you...It's the best $150 rod on the planet and believe me when I tell you that these rods will do everything that an NRX rod will do....especially by getting better customer service. I have broken 2 of my NRX rods only to be charged a fee to get it back. the NRX rods are brittle and you have to babysit them. I may just buy another TFO.

Comments: no way these rods are as sensitive as NRX. Seeing as how every customer review has the phrase "give em a try you won't be disappointed" or "tfo hit a home run with these", I'm calling BS on these customer reviews.
Comments: "hit a home run" "you wont be disappointed" -enough with the fake customer reviews already tfo.
Comments: TFO hit a homerun with these 2 new cranking rods. They have the parabolic feel of glass, but lighter and more responsive. These are easier and more accurate to cast than typical glass rods. They are not noodles, but not stiff either. I would get both as they complement each other. The 79 is perfect for anything 10ft and deeper, 7 for all less
