TFO Gary Loomis Tactical Spinning Rods - $98.88 to $149.95
Designed by legendary rod designer, Gary Loomis, the TFO Gary Loomis Tactical Spinning Rods utilize a new proprietary scrim in conjunction with Temple Fork Outfitter’s high modulus carbon fiber blank material, which allowed Gary to save weight and increase sensitivity - all without sacrificing strength. The blanks are also tastefully finished and polished with a thin layer of matte clear coat to enhance the natural luster of the fibers, and proprietary Tactical Series Guides with stainless steel inserts and frames offer 30% weight savings over standard SiC guides, as well as, advanced, super slick, saltwater-safe performance. Available in a wide range of lengths and actions for a variety of bass fishing applications, the TFO Gary Loomis Tactical Casting Rods still feature TFO’s trademark color ID split grip handle for easy identification at a glance, and each rod is further complimented by a two piece reel seat and a natural cork ring split grip.

Comments: Picked up a 7'3" med a week or two ago and it is just what Ive been looking for Especially for kayak fishing super smooth guides are quiet when paired up with power pro slick 8 I have a shimano CI4 2500 on it now and will be ordering another soon to put my sustain FG 3000 on and possibly one for a CI4 3000. I have delt with TFO's customer service in the past and they are great no ?s asked replacement with quick turn around if its discontinued they will offer anything they have to make up for it. That happend on a fly rod that I broke. But great people Im sold on these rods and will be replaceing my star rod seagis's with them.

Comments: The handles are too short. Not sure what to use this rod for...
Comments: Just got this rod in today and am a little disappointed. I got the 7'3 in hopes to use it for catching spots and small stripe on the river. The handle seems very short for a 7'3 rod and the reel seat is far back. Just feels like i wouldnt have any leverage if i got on a good spot or decent stripe. However these rods are significantly lighter than the Signature series. I havent got to use it yet and am hoping my mind changes once i do. Who knows i might end up loving it
