Comments: Awesome reel!!sweet deal!!
From: Kevin: NC
Comments: Such an awesome reel. Have several of the 1500 size and they're perfect! Trying to upgrade all my spinning reels to these. Can't be happier with these Fuegos!
From: Jared: Northern Cali
Comments: This reel is great for the price. I love mine. I've been wondering why these aren't already all gone, because at this price it's like stealing.
From: Taylor: GA
Comments: I have to agree, I like this reel better than my $200 Shimano Stradic. I put the Fuego 3000A on a 7' medium action Vendetta rod. It's casting light plastics about 25% further than my other setups, it's so smooth. Knowing it's been discontinued, I just ordered another one. I can't think of a better reel for the price.
From: Jason: Fleming Island, FL
Comments: Just purchased three of the 2000 and one 3000. Received a couple today--they are very smooth reels. Great price for a great reel with extra spool.
From: Keith: Central VA
Comments: A great reel for this discounted price as another poster said a NO-BRAINER!! The fuego is better in all aspects compared to the newer Daiwa line. With exception of the overpriced STEEZE.. I am a shimano guy and i prefer the Fuego over the stradic C series..
From: Jamie: PA
Comments: Excellent reel. At this sale price, its a no-brainer. Its a shame its discontinued.
From: Daniel: NC
Comments: I bought the 1000A soon after it came out on the market. It is by far the best ultralight spinning reel I have ever owned! I laugh when people say the Stradic cI4 and FI are even close. Yes, I do own both of those too, but they simply suck compared to the Fuego. I am sad and bewildered as to why Daiwa has chosen to discontinue it.
Pros: light, smooth, durable, corrosion proof Zaion material, and has a smooth drag. Better line management than Stradic and Pflueger.
Cons: 4.7:1 ratio is a little slow. A little pricey for non-metal reel.
From: Blaine: HI
Comments: Was one of the first to order this reel from TackleWarehouse. Not a regret in the world! Love these reels. Typical upper end awesome Daiwa Quality! I rebuilt the drag with some better grease and added a double handle. Best spinner I've ever owned! First day I used it right out of the box it was tested by a 6lb female largemouth and performed flawlessly. It's helped land many large bass since! You won't regret this purchase.
From: Tacklejunkie: Southern California
Comments:I have a 2000 paired with a Med. action Fuego rod. Amazing combination, best spinning outfit I've ever used.
From:Adam: Bowdon, GA
Comments:Just bought two of these reels model 2000, put both of them on tony bean rods, awesome combination.
