Comments: This is a serious value for this quality of reel especially at this price point. I purchased this reel for my 8 year old from TW and find it difficult to put down when he allows me to use it. It is paired with a 6'9" ML Johnny Morris and balances extremely well. As a comparison, I also own TD Sol and TD Advantage reels. Out of the three, I prefer the Advantage simply because it is a tad heavier and the color is awesome. However, this reel has very similar performance and equally smooth drag. As of yet, I haven't noticed any line twisting issues with the 6# Seaguar Invisx. The TD Tierra does compete very well with reels that are much higher priced in my mind. I am ordering another one for my other son to replace the Abu Garcia. I agree with the earlier poster who stated the color is a negative.

Comments: this is by far the smoothest reel i have ever felt. i have been to tackle shops and tried out some of the top end 300 dollar + reels and they don't feel anywhere near as smooth as this. reeling is so effortless and smooth it's like cutting through room temperature butter with a red hot box cutter blade. the drag is incredibly smooth and you can adjust it in very small increments. the overall feel and build quality is outstanding. for the price, you absolutely can not beat it. daiwa knocked it out of the park with the tierra!
