Customer Reviews

Comments: Nice rod for $100.  Tip was softer than normal.

From: Dom: Fort Myers, FL

Comments: The Real seat is waaaaay too far back. I like the but end to reack my elbow and this is a few inches shy, made it uncomfortable to use, especially on a 7'6" like thje one i got. I'd expect a 7'6" rod to have a long but end almost like a flipping rod, but this disappointed me, now trying to sell it.

Comments: I recently bought the 7'6" mh for speckled trout and redfish. After the first few hours of use it became my favorite rod. Perfect rod for popping corks with live bait or plastics. I have 2 g loomis rods that are twice the price that this rod compares to. But for the money. I haven't found a better value. I ordered 2 more as soon as I got back.

From: Jeff: Denham Springs, LA

Comments: Great rod for the money.  Very light, sensitive, with a good parabolic bend throughout the rod.  I paired it with a shimano sahara 2500 and it really has a good balance to it.

Comments:  Nice rods, but they're not Loomis.  I wanted  7'6" spinning rods for light line, and gave 2 of these a try.  Construction is perfectly in line with a $100 rod, but don't expect more.  I do like the rods, and will try a casting rod, and only have 2 small issues with them.  1) the reel set is about 1" to far back on the spinning rods, which makes the rod tip heavy, and 2) they feel "dull".  Haven't missed a bite that I can tell of, and I bet a slight revision on the 2nd round of rods would make these a great bargain.

Comments: Purchased the TFG FWS 663-1 6'6" Med Light and it has become my favorite spinning rod. The SIC guide inserts are great and the rod sensitivity is very similar to my G. Loomis GLX MBR783C. I use it for largemouth bass and crappie fishing with lighter, finesse lures. I have also caught a couple of large catfish on it and the backbone was plenty powerful to land them. The handle is also very comfortable to fish with. I highly recommend these rods, they are a steal at $99.99.

Comments: The medium spinning - what a beautiful rod!
From: Ed: Astoria, NY

Comments:Ê Bought a 7' med light, has to be one of the best rod in my boat. Made a great worm rod, can feel the smallest bump but plenty of backbone to set the hook. great rod.
From: Mike: Junction, VA

Comments:There are three med lt rods. As they get longer the tips and actions get faster. The 6'6" like a medium and the 7'6" Med Lt is extra fast.
