Worden's Timber Tiger Crankbait - $4.88 to $6.69
The Worden’s TimberTiger delivers a modern, tight crankbait wobble combined with the vibration of a flat-sided balsa or a lipless rattle bait - all in a fat plug design. Extremely snag-resistant due to several unique innovations, it features a special Timber Roller Lip that is round on top and splayed at the front. The bill also has a special center ridge to roll smoothly over roots and branches. The Timber Guard side fins on the belly and tail help reduce hang-ups on submerged wood and brush, and the TimberTiger’s Tite-Tuck belly hook position allows the hook to pivot away from snags more easily.
Each TimberTiger also features high buoyancy properties to quickly rise out of trouble, and the Flat Head Design causes it to back up 4-5 inches from snags when the retrieve is paused. The lure’s Rod Tip Variable depth control even enables you to change the lure’s depth at any time during the retrieve by changing your rod tip position from high to low. Designed by Tom Stewart, one of the best in the busines, the Worden’s TimberTiger is available in a variety of proven colors to match the forage in your local waters.

Comments: I've been using the DC-3 after reading about in in an old magazine from 1987. I can't believe I've never heard of them before. Every body of water I have fished, I've caught fish. They may not all be lunkers, but the numbers are there.

Comments: purchased the DC-2 in Bleeding Shad and threw it along rocky shorlines during the spawn. picked up on multiple bass, all over 3 lbs. Overall an amazing lure. Not the most durable though.

Comments: these are a unique crank, with a funny shape, but it works and rarely snags or hangs up.the action isnt wild, its no ima roumba (the best ever shallow crank).its like a hybrid with a square bill and a shallow bill crank.

Comments: I've only used the DC-4 and DC-5 models extensively. These baits are, in fact, highly snag resistant. I primarily fish rivers, and these are one of my favorite cranks to fish with due to their ability to avoid snags. I cast across and into submerged timber ALL THE TIME, trying my best to snag them, and it rarely happens. Typically, the only thing that slows the bait, if it is being fished skillfully/conscientiously, is the fish that just ate it. These baits don't vibrate violently. I would describe the action as a tight wobble. It's fairly muted as far as cranks go, but it's enough to draw the interest of fish. There is a single ball rattle that seems loose inside of the body. Keep in mind that I mostly fish the DC-5, but I have also fished the DC-4 quite a bit too. I really can't weigh in about how the others offered here perform.
