Bassmaster Elite Series pro, Brent Chapman used the Wright & McGill Rick Clunn S-Glass Reaction Rods in route to his 2012 Elite Series Angler-of-the-Year Title!
Wright & McGill Co. and top BASS Elite Series pro, Skeet Reese have combined forces again to create the W&M Micro Honeycomb Spinning Rod Series. Extremely lightweight and incredibly sensitive, this high modulus fishing rod delivers unparalleled performance without sacrificing rod strength and durability. Featuring W&M’s advanced Honeycomb blank technology, the rod blank is created through the combination of three separate layers of high-modulus graphite wrapped around a high-density graphite core, reinforced by woven fibers, and then bound together by W&M’s new, industry leading, micro honeycomb resin.
Micro Guides add to the high performance characteristics of the exclusive blank technology, while offering many distinct advantages, including increased casting distance and accuracy, as well as, reduced weight and line management issues. Wright & McGill’s Advanced Guide Placement (AGP) also positions the micro guides precisely along the rod blank, based on its intended use and design, to ensure maximum performance in a specific technique. A split grip handle design with a large fighting butt also helps perfectly balance out each rod, and a proprietary Wright & McGill Reel Seat provides a lightweight, sturdy base for your reel. Delivering Elite Series performance at a price that is more affordable to the everyday angler, the Wright & McGill Skeet Reese Micro Honeycomb Spinning Rod is the same rod Skeet uses to consistently excel at the highest levels of competitive bass fishing.
“I love high performance and these new W&M Micro Honeycomb rods were built to be exactly that - light, sensitive and perfectly balanced. Like other super high end rods as far as weight and sensitivity but these are affordable and they even feature new micro guides for long and accurate casts. If you like the S-Curve series, you’re going to love the new W&M Micro Honeycomb line up.” - Skeet Reese, Bassmaster Classic Champ and BASS AOY.

Comments: I purchased one of these a little over a year ago, and I use it primarily for drop shoting. The first time I used it was in a tournament in lake Erie, I caught several very large Smallmouth, to 5 lbs and had no issues what so ever, I have several of the yellow sticks and have had no problems , no breaks, bends, or delaminations, I would never have bought one if I went off all the negative press! They are a great value!

Comments: I have de 7'2"MH rod. I originally bought it because it was the only 1oz mod-fast spinning rod I could find in the $100. All I can say is that I had no expectation considering quality issues people are reffering to. But I was pleasantly surprised of the performance of that rod. It casts lures from1/8 a mile and hsndle real well 1oz Baits.
I own Mojo Bass and Saavy rods and the W&M is my favorite spinning rod. Really fun to use. My wife keeps stealing it from me!

Comments: I absolutely love mine. Tube finesse rod is perfect for my drop shotting. It has such a soft tip. The only con is that the eyes don't smoothly let the line pass when your dropping it vertically down. It handles the fish very well.

Comments: Got the 7ft Finesse/fluke worm and it snapped setting the hook on its first fish. All I know is that I won't be getting another one.
Comments: I own the the finesse tube/jig spinning rod and primarily use it for drop shotting smallies. Had it for over a year and I have no complaints.

Comments: I bought one of these and it snapped the first time it had a load on it. Tackle Warehouse was great about taking care of it. The replacement had two eyes filled closed with the epoxy coating. I was able to pop it out but obviously these rods have ZERO quality control...I won't buy another, nor can I recommend these.
