X-Tools gripNweigh Digital Scale provides tournament anglers with all the features we want in a tournament grade fish scale. To start with, it FLOATS and it's WATERPROOF! Even as much sense as that makes there are plenty of digital scales out there that aren't. Why would you want to take anything in your boat that would be ruined if it got soaked or sank to the bottom if you accidentally dropped it? X-Tools has included very thoughtful features in the design of the gripNweigh, like an easy to grip chassis that allows control of all the function buttons with your thumb. All controls are located on the front of the scale along with the large, easy to read display screen. It's easy to weigh a fish with the gripNweigh, pull up on the trigger bar to open the jaws and release the bar to clamp onto the fish's lower jaw. The scale will give you an accurate reading of the fish's weight in pounds and ounces. If you are going to put the fish in the livewell, push the record button to keep the weight in the unit's memory. With the Pro Series Scale you can assign a number to each fish you put in the livewell and tag the fish with the included floats. These floats clamp on the fish's jaw and you will not need to damage the fish. You can go through the weights to find your cull fish and delete it's weight and float number and later, you can scroll through the weights of the fish you want to bring to the weigh-in and know how much you'll be weighing. The gripNweigh allows you to weigh and handle fish without punching a hole in their lower jaw or otherwise injuring them and is very accurate. This unit will save you time on the water and allow you to accurately weigh your fish so you'll have to resort to the balance beam less often.

The Pro unit weighs fish up to 35 pounds. Seven numbered floats included.

Comments: These scales are not accurate at all.  An 8lb weight can register anywwhere from 7-9 lbs and never consistent.  Luckily I purchased it at a cheap price, because it's worthless.  I will have better luck guessing the weight of my first than relying on this scale.

Comments: Not very impressed with this scale is not real accurate or consistent. That being said at the sale price it is probably the best you are going to get.

Comments: I dont find the scale accurate and the culling grips come out of the fishes mouth constantly.  Not reccomended.

Comments: I have had my set for 3 or 4 years with no trouble at all. Im ordering more to just to put up because of the price.

Comments: Scale won't turn on the second time out and I sent it right back.

Comments:Scales are nice but are not consistent when true culling counts, every ounce means money and these are not the best choice for big money tournaments. There great for the weekend buddy tournaments but when it counts look for a better set.

From:Kevin: Eatern, KY

Comments:Used this culling system on three tournaments so far work great and accurate. Total weight on scales was the same total weight at the weigh in. But the first tournament temp was very cold and scales would not work until temp warmed up. Overall for the money I think this is a good system.

Comments:Scales are not very good. Had to send mine back and got another without any problems. Scales are not consistent.
