Overview

If there's been one lure that has changed the face of fishing over the years, it's the Senko. With its wide range of uses and subtle natural action, the Senko has quickly become a favorite with anglers all over the world. The beauty of the Senko is in its simplicity. The Swimming Senko brings a whole new dimension to Senko fishing. When rigged weightless, the Swimming Senko falls horizontally with a seductive side to side tail action, the tail action of the swimming senko has more vibration and movement than its brother, which can be extremely productive in stained water situations. The subtleness of the original Senko is still prevalent, but the Swimming Senko has more kick in the tail section. The Swimming Senko also works great when pitched or flipped when rigged Texas-rigged. The Yamamoto Swimming Senko is another deadly version of a proven winner.

Very versatileThis is a great bait to throw if you are unsure of the fish mood. You can throw it weightless and just let sink and swim it up. If the fish are active, you can texas rig it and swim it like a swimbait or burn on top.

Comments: Great action and color selection, but durability is not there. They make Keitechs look tough and durable in comparison.

Comments: I have been on an awesome Skinny Dipper bite for a few months, so I got some of these to try to show the fish something new. Thumbs down. I get very few bites on them. Throw the SD back on and the bites continue. Kind of a bummer since I bought quite a few packs. I'll try them again though, but so far, so bad.

Comments: Great River Smallmouth bait! I used the 5 inch Swim Senko last weekend, in a slow flowing Midwest river, for smallmouth. Probably my favorite softbait yet; I've primarily used the Keitech swimbaits in the past, but I think I like the Swim Senko better because it is just more versatile. Most of the time in a river you cast to very slow, or no flow areas, such as a log jam, bank cut out, etc. The swim senko can be fished as a worm in those areas, and a swimbait in out in the flow. I caught fish in both areas; I'd fish it as worm then work it out in current, and it turns into a swimbait. The smallmouth just ate it up. I don't like to do a lot of bait changes while wade fishing so this versatile bait is great. Fished it alone with an Owner Twistlock Light 2/0 and it was perfect. I found the durability to be fine; after a few fish it was tore up. I cut about 1/4 inch off the front and it was good to go again for a few more fish.

Comments: These Swimbaits are sweet for Chatterbaits I prefer the 5 inch because the tail section is thicker and they tail doesn't come of as easily if a fish comes up and nips the tail or it get wrapped in some grass. The 4 inch works fine, but a lot of the time the tail will get pulled off by a fish, One of the main things I love about these is that it doesn't mess up the action of the jig at all. For some reason, they are just terrible on a standard swimjig, I prefer a Keitech easy shiner.

Comments:I don't even know where to begin with how amazing this bait is.... it shines weightless, on a Carolina rig, and surprisingly very well topwater. The first night I tried it I hooked up on three consecutive casts and none of the fish were smaller than 4 lbs. My best so far is an 8 but I know it's only a matter of time before a 10 grabs it. I've even let it sit on the bottom for a couple minutes and reeled in the slack and boom fish on. Gary Yamamoto is the industry leader in baits and it's not even by a close margin. Yes they are only good for a fish or two but that is more than okay with me especially on those tough days where this is the only thing that produces!

Comments:Great for fishing grass, docks, suspended fish, and makes great chatterbbait trailer. I have used the swimming senko when things get tough and it produces. Last year we began using it as my chatter bait trailer after watching a bass university class. This has been the most productive trailer for me especially fishing grass.

Comments:These are fantastic baits to use on post-frontal days with blue bird skies. Take something like a finesse wide-gap hook or a split-shot hook, and just nose hook this thing and throw it weightless... then give it a slow and steady retrieve, stop and starting it every so often. If you use that style of hook, you can also take some heavy mono and tie your own weed-guard so you can really get it through the weed beds, which is exactly where this style of bait really shines. It's slender with a nice tight wobble to the tail, so it comes through the cover really well.

Watermelon w/ Red Flake and Green Pumpkin are the best producers. They're good ol' standbys for a reason. From:

Comments:These are dynamite for suspended bass rigged on a split shot or mojo rig! Try it you will thank me later!

From: Chris King: Shepherd, MI 1/12/17

Comments:I rigged one of these on a C-rig and caught of 4 lb. largemouth on the third cast. Later, something unexpected happened. I found that fish regularly followed the bait back to the boat, then struck causing me to miss a good one. Great action, great bait.

From: Doc: Columbia, SC 2/15/15

Comments:I bought a pack of the 5" green pumpkin & red flake after seeing these discussed on numerous shows on the NBC Sports Network. I caught 3 4lb+ largemouth in less then 2 hours on these! 2 of them were open-water casts from a dock! Well worth the $7.50 I paid for them, but as others have said, they do tear easy if you get caught on vegetation/the fish strikes aggressively.

From: Scott: Washington, NJ

Comments:Reading reviews you'll often see someone mention "this works when nothing else will." Swim senkos are the closest I have to that. True, they're not cheap + tear easily. But many times they have caught fish when nothing else was even getting a tap. both sizes have worked. I just wish the pickerel didn't like them as much as the bass.

Comments: I really really love these baits.....but DANG they are expensive!!!!!!!!!!

From: Drew: Panama City, Fl

Comments: I have used the swim senko and I loved it me and my friend tore'em up on the swim senko its awesome so go get some today you won't be disappointed!

From: Landon: Groves, TX

Comments:Great bait to flip to beds, or fan cast in anywhere! caught a nice 4lber off it today

From: Connor: Atlanta, GA

Comments:Picked up a pack for a morning trip to the lake. I just thought they looked pretty cool. I bought the Green and Red Flake an used it weightless texas rig. Second cast and I had a hit. Sadly i missed it. Next cast another bite. Didnt land that one either. Decided to use a 7' rod and finally got it. Nearly 3 lb. Pretty good for the first try. Late october trip.

From: Joseph: Thousand Oaks, CA

Comments: these baits have caught me more in fish than any other bait i throw. Rigged weightless with a 1/0 EWG hook i can skip under docks and trees and i can swim it across the surface like a subtle buzz bait. Some of my bigger fish have come just reeling back in for antoher cast and they crush it on top with that tail going crazy. Its very good when the fish are sluggish and even better when they are aggresive. Its like a super senko. Only downside is they tear easily and its hard to find the 4 inch size. I hate the 5 inch because only the tail is longer. its not proportioned correctly. Overall great bait!

From: Chris: Branchburg, NJ

Comments:Paired with an Owner 5/0, 1/8 oz Twist Lock hook, this is a virtually weedless way to fish through weeds that works where lipped or lipless crankbaits are useless. The shank weighted hook keeps it swimming true. Bass strike it with a fury in the post-spawn period.

From: Vince: Tucson, AZ

Comments: Bass go crazy for these!
