Overview

The Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Worm was designed to trigger bass' predatory instinct. It features the realistic look and action of a worm, combined with the Ultra Vibe Tail for maximum water disturbance. Very versatile, you can buzz it on top, swim it below the surface or rig it Texas or Carolina style - the tail will elicit strikes when others don't. Like all Zoom baits, each UV Speed Worm is made with soft, life-like plastic that is salt-impregnated for extra bite-holding power.

Comments: Makes a decent Chatterbait trailer. I cut about an inch off the front. I used red bug with a fire craw jack hammer. Looked good to me, nice flapping tail. Fish didn't complain either. Honestly, the original speed worm should be good too.

From: Mark : Floresville, TX 4/10/22

Comments: I had these for a while with no luck at multiple spots, but one day I forgot my Senko-style and straight tailed worms. I found one of these at the bottom of my bag, and threw it around with no luck. After about 15 minutes, I saw a fish cruising around, but when I casted to it I got hung up and lost the tail. Discouraged, I continued fishing, and in the next couple hours I had caught 8 fish. Used as a senko without the tail, rigged weightless with a 1/0 offset worm hook, this thing catches fish like crazy.

From: Skylar: Georgia 2/24/22

Comments: I use this as a subtle way to imitate baitfish when bream are present. I will also drag bottom slowly if they're on a bottom bite and my normal go to worms aren't getting much action.

From: Unknown: Kentucky 7/16/21

Comments: Best worm I have ever used I call it the big fish bait!, I have been only using this bait when I go out now buzzing it at the top of the water or slow finesse at the bottom with a 1/16th tungsten bullet weight. Only color I use is Black Sapphire. I catch 5-10 fish in an hour at random golf courses.

From: Shane: Tampa, FL 8/3/20

Comments: Great worm, caught huge bass on these. I used it on a 6/0 Mustad UltraPoint KVD Grip-Pin Wide Gap hook with pegged 1/2 oz bullet weight. The hook is perfect to hold these on cast after cast. Swim it or bounce it along the bottom. My new go to bait when they aren't biting or times are tough. Highly recommended!

From: Martin: 5/30/20

Comments: I Texas rig these, and use the June bug red color. Perfect for when the clouds are out.

From: T: Central FL 5/1/20

Comments: Had these for two years before I really have them a chance. These are very versatile. They work great pitched to heavy timber with a pegged weight or weightless across the surface. I also like to twitch them and let them sink, like I would a senko or a fluke. It's a presentation that the fish don't see as often and really seems to get bit. Or you could just swim it through the grass. Really not a wrong way to fish this.

From: Ryan: Little Elm, TX 3/28/20

Comments: Initially I had my doubts about this worm because I just didn't see a whole lot of action from the tail. To be fair I bought a few packs from TackleWarehouse in Emerald blue, Junebug, and Green Pumpkin. I pegged a 3/16 oz weight at the tip and used an Owner Twist Lock hook. I fished these worms around the bank near rocks, docks, and open flats. I didn't have much success then I fished a small lake that was pretty deep with weeds this forced me to swim this worm just underneath the surface and Kaboom!. I started catching 'em, big ones too. This bait shines around underwater vegetation. I carry these worms with me everywhere now.

From: Oscar: Mesquite, TX 10/15/19

Comments: Makes a good streamlined  flipping & punching bait through small openings in matted vegetation with a pegged tungsten bullet weight and 3/0  round bend VMC Flipping Hook .

From: Luther - Georgia 10/8/18

Comments: If you don't have some of these in green pumpkin and red shad green, or red bug, your missing out on some fish catching baits. I used to fish almost exclusively with Powerworms, but these, and the magnum ultravibe speed worms have become my favorite plastic worms. The tail action is much more of a wobble and more erratic than a curly tail worm. These are especially good on a Carolina rig  or on my own "redolina" rig. My "redolina rig" is very similar to a traditional Carolina rig, but with a much smaller/lighter weight (1/4 to 3/8 oz) and is very effective in shallower water. If you need a little larger profile worm, then you might want to also try the Bass Assassin Rail Worm, with a tail action similar the the Ultravibe Speedworms.

From: Red: McAlester, OK. 8/2/17

Comments: I will never fish another worm again unless it's this one gooseberry is the greatest color that zoom has for any bait and it has won me a lot of money. 1/4oz weight and a 5/0 of set worm hook on 16lb gamma edge is the greatest combo. Have caught many of bass over 5.5lbs and a catfish last summer that was 17lbs

From: James: Wilson, NC 5/21/17

Comments: Fish this thing around grass with a 3/16th oz pegged weight, a 4/0 round bend hook and simply chunk it and swim it back to the boat.  The fish destroy this thing!  Not sure what it represents, but you can't beat it around vegetation or wood.  I have one tied on constantly!

From: Brownfish: Kentucky 2/25/17

Comments: Not sure why, but on certain bodies of water, this things kills. Then again, I have been to other places where the fish wouldn't touch it. Weird. I always have these in the boat though...they catch decent sized fish. Like the kind you weigh in and get you paid.

From: Jay6: USA 10/9/14

Comments: This is a great worm! i have caught several bass on it. My favorite color is California 420. I rig this on 12 lb mono with a 1/4 oz bullet weight and a 4/0 EWG hook. I do have one problem that is: the tails do rip easily, its just the way the tail is cut. But other than that it is a good worm and i recommend that you try it. Buy more than 1 pack, you will run out.

From: Colin: MA 8/23/14

Comments: This worm helped me catch the biggest bass I have ever caught. I was fishing with the watermelon one and got hits 3 out of 4 casts. Then later I switched to the blue sapphire and I caught my personal best.

From: Terrel Peterman, AL 3/23/13

Comments: Totally awesome bait!  Rigged it wacky last April and caught 22" bass in a reservoir.  Rigged it Texas style, both weightless and with screw in bullet sinker, and fished it in a shallow grass filled lake at various speeds.  Caught two more 22" bass and many smaller.  I use green pumpkin in low light and watermelon red in bright light.  Anxious to use it on different waters this coming season.

From: Dave: Virginia Beach, VA

Comments: Totally versatile worm. You cant fish it wrong, bro. Red Shad/Green is always out of stock for a reason!

From: Meatwad: Lovin my haters

Comments: pretty dope worm. pick a pack of your fav color and get to chuckin. probably dang near impossible to fish this one wrong.

From: MISHAP: one up, three over

Comments: I had a tournament this past weekend, on John's lake and i won second place using this worm in watermelon red catching a 4 pound bass. This is my favorite bait out on the market!

From: Kyle: Leesburg, FL

Comments: I think this is the most underappreciated bait on the market today. After fishing many lakes in different states and in virtually every condition this worm has proved itself time and time again. I'd even go as far as saying that its the best dang worm out there. It has an action the big bass simply can't resist. At night try rigging it with a tungsten and 2 glass beads, simply slow roll it along the bottom making sure you hit the bottom and HOLD ON! They hammer it. This worm is also a great swim jg trailer

From: Taylor: Nashville, TN

Comments: best bait ever!!!!!  caught 2 1 pounders and  2 3 pounders  and a half a.... and a  four!!!!!

From: Jace: Newnan, GA

Comments: This is a BIG bass bait! I have caught 4 bass so far since I bought these: 6 lbs, 5 1/2 lbs, 5 lbs, and 3 lbs. I burn it fast over lily pads and bass annihilate these baits! If you haven't fished one yet you need to, especially during the summer months. Add this one to the list of Zoom baits that work!

From: Craig: Land o Lakes, FL

Comments: Another winner from Zoom. Here in my local Florida (Central) ponds and lakes, I usually have the best success with the Watermelon colors - E.g. Wat Red, Wat Candy Red, and Wat Gold. They work, and I fish them a variety of ways - E.g. Wacky, Light Texas Rig, etc... I'll often switch from Brush Hogs to these if they aren't hitting the brush hogs (Reg or Baby Brush Hogs). Can't go wrong with a few bags of these in your kit. There are some days when these are all the bass will bite.

From: Shawn: Tampa, FL

Comments: this bait is awsome! its very versatile and has something tht the fish love. this bait i fished all day in a tournament and caught me fish all day so this is in my tackle box 24/7!

From: Jacob: Lakeland, FL

Comments: However you fish it, it'll catch bass !! Burn it weightless on the surface or use it texas rigged or wacky... It doesen't matter... It works !

From: Fab: France

Comments: This worm has caught me 100's of bass.
