Comments:I think that these frogs are some of the very best on the market
today. I would rate them a (10) of (10) for size, color, and weight. To me where they are
lacking is in the sound aspect. For that I'd give them a (3) of (10) only because you can add
a rattle and still maintain hook setting ablilty. Overall I'd rate them an (8) respectivly. I fished
this frog on heavy mat for almost three months and I believe that's were it fishes the best.
After adding some weight (small lead shot used for reloading) I found It produced enough
sound and added the proper weight for the heavy mat. The only other drawback about this
bait is YOU CAN'T FIND IT!!!!

Comments: I also thought this bait filled with water to quickly and separated
from the lead weight to easily. However when this bait floods it looks like a real frog
swimming just below the surface. A number of strikes occured when I was fishing it this
way. The awesome color scheme really aids in swimming this bait along weed lines. I also
found that my hookups were better when fished this way. I still like the Sumo frogs better, but
the colors on the Kanji are the best.

Comments: I find that I miss a lot of fish on this bait due to the single hook
placed in the center of the bait. I also found that the bait floods easily if the lead and plastic
does not seal correctly. This helps to remove water when the bait is squeezed, but bad as
the bait takes on water either after a missed bite or if it bangs into a hard wood or a rock on
the cast.
There are two small holes at the base of the legs. These holes are too small to allow
the bait to collapse on a bait and allow the hook to have space off the back of the frog to get a
good hookset. I suggest making the holes larger to allow air to escape on the bite. You
could silicon the lead and belly space - but the new larger gap at the legs still won't allow
enough air to escape to allow the single hook to get set in a fish. Overall I would rate the
look of these frogs a 10, size a 9 but overall strike to catch ratio a 3.
