Shimano Chronarch D Series Casting Reels - $299.99
The Chronarch D is constructed with an aluminum frame and sideplates, Shimano also incorporated an ultra lightweight A7075 aluminum spool with the Magnumlite spool design. One added benefit that is not present in the Core reels is the addition of S A-RB bearings, these bearings are treated like the A-RB bearings but are also shielded on both sides reducing the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the bearings rotation. The D Series Chronarch incorporates many of the Shimano premium features and is built tough for years of use.

Comments:Awesome reel no doubt! VERY solid, casts great, smooth retrieve and handles fish excellently. Would like to see a power handle offered like the core 100mgfv. Definately my favorite reel thus far.

Comments:Comments:The Chronarch D is the "Reel Deal". Lightweight and casting is very smooth even with lighter applications. The ergonomics are genius, it fits perfectly in your palm. The appearance/design gives the impression you're fishing with alien intelligence. Goes well with the Shimano Cumara rods.
