Jackall Weedless Wacky Jig Head 3pk

The Jackall Weedless Wacky Jig Head was developed specifically to work with the Jackall Flick Shake Worm. Also a great choice for use with other worms, its design and proportions maximize the Flick Shake's action and performance. The line eye is positioned at a ninety-degree angle for better hook setting, and the wire weedguard helps prevent snags while not inhibiting hook sets. The short shank and precise bend of the hook cradle the worm perfectly and help maximize the worm's action, and the tungsten head also gives the Jackall Weedless Wacky Jig Head a smaller profile for a more natural appearance.

Comments: I have fished these jig heads in all types of water and conditions. I have caught many fish over 5 lbs. and never had a hook straightened. I fish a 7' medium rods and either 6 or 8 lb flo line. I don't break line and do not have hooks that get straightened. I caught a 9lb 4oz largmouth on 6 lb test line that was in heavy grass and got in pads BUT the rod , line knot tie and drag work together to give me a great fish. I have fished other 1/16 oz jig heads wacky worms with a different hook design and have not had the success of the Jackall Wacky Jig Heads!  My money and the enjoyment of catcing good bass is on this most excellent product!

Comments: best wacky jig heads on the Market! ! Keep it simple with this jig head, 8-10lb.Flourocarbon on a spinning rod. Expensive but worth it..Zappu a close 2nd.

From: Tommy: Piqua, OH 1/26/16

Comments: I fish them on 7' medium light rod with 20lb braid and a 5' leader of 8lb fluorocarbon & catch dozens of bass on the same hook. Yes, these hooks straighten out and fall apart if you cast them into the rocks or try to horse the fish, but if you adjust your drag accordingly & fish them the way they were designed to be fished, they are the best flick shake heads on the market.

From: Jesse: VA 6/2/15

Comments: Bigger hook than the Zappu, and a slightly different style hook as well. If I am not shaking the Zappu then it is this one. I don't throw any other style.

From: Jay6: USA 1/3/14

Comments: good hooks, good for floro and not braid. they will bend with braid, even on a spinning rod. but a great hook up ratio and last forever.

From: Colin: IN 12/29/14

Comments: used this system for the first time and was very pleased with the results. Weed guard did not break and the thin wire hook did not straighten. As someone mentioned on another review, this is a finesse technique and the right equipment and drag setting should be appropriate. I will buy more of these in the future.

From: Paul: Malta, NY 8/31/14

Comments: It is expensive.. the head will fall apart if smashed into rocks or docks while skipping it.  the weedguard is weak and will snag ALOT! threw these away and got myself the VMC wacky jigheads instead and those are every bit as good with less snags and better durability.

From: Tim: NC 5/10/14

Comments: FAILED! 2 out of 3 hooks from the package failed! the hooks bended.... the 3rd one never used and just threw it away.

From: MN

Comments:  I dunno about hooks getting bent straight, but theses hooks worked flawlessly at lake fork for me, even in the thicker brush piles.  I landed a 8+ largemouth with it and didn't have any problems.

From: Jacob: Utah

Comments: 10/10 for the Hook not a fan of the price.

From: Bassn Rob: So Cal

Comments: these hooks get a 10/10 in my opinion. they are super sharp and last for a while. i agree that the weed guard is semi useful and tht can use a little work. I have been using thse hooks for almost 3 years and they are by far the best. I have tried other wacky jig head type of hooks but nothing compares to these. Most are almost the same price any ways. These hooks can catch you at least 50 bass still be razor sharp. get em now its worth the extra money!

From: Ryan Lincoln, NE

Comments: If you can not land big bass with these hooks then you do not know what you are doing.  I have been using these for 3 years here in southern California, and have landed several bass over 5lbs on the same hook.  Never a problem and alwas a solid hook set.

From: David: Hemet. CA

Comments: Bought these and only have a few complaints. The weed guard doesn't do much if you are in even medium cover. After three fish the weed guard was bent so i tried to bend it back and it broke right off. Was not happy. The hook is sharp and it does what it is meant to do but for 2.30 for one jighead, WAAAAAAAAYYYY overpriced.

From: Andrew: Algonac, MI

Comments: The price on these is getting out of hand...been using them for a long time and love them but may need to start looking for something more cost effective since we lose a lot of the hooks.

From: JW: Texas, USA

Comments: These are great little jigs. I don't understand the problem everyone is saying they have with the hooks straightening though. Wacky rigging with this set up is meant to be a finesse technique. True you can't horse fish in with them. But you're not supposed to. Two smallies over 5 lbs tells me the hooks are fine the way they are. They're sticky sharp and easy to set. If you want to horse in a fish, use a diffrent jig. Don't blast this jig because its being misused. It's fine the way it is.

From: Dave: Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Comments: I've been using these wacky jig heads for about 2 years or so....and I have to say I'm very impressed with them. I've landed a few good sized bass 2lbs.-3lbs. and a hard fighting 18in pickerel. I like to fish these in light to medium cover or right along the edges of the weeds/lilly pad beds.

From: Yosef: Liverpool, NY

Comments:Great for smallmouth in the Columbia River. Hooks are extremely sharp and can hold up to the abuse that a 3+ lb smallie can dish out.

From:Randy: Kelso, WA

Comments:Same results as the other comments. This rig produces plenty of strikes but the hook isn't strong enough to land a good fish. In my experience two hooks have bent outward on fish less than 4 pounds. Good idea, but needs a stronger hook!

From:Frank: Birdsboro, PA

Comments:I bought these twice, the first one I thought had a problem, I bent everyone of them. I like the design of them so I bought some more of them and they did the same thing, straightened the hook on all of them. The one I have left have been removed from my boat and will not be put back, they need a stronger hook and they would have a great product.

From:Joe: Washington

Comments:Did well in a tournament with these heads but lost several larger fish because the hook straightened out. Good design and idea, bad hook!

From:TC: Aurora, CO

Comments:I used this jig head and with a senko and landed a 11 lb 4oz hawg! This little jig head has been my go to bait this tournament season. It will handle any fish and rarely gets hung up!!

From:Allen: Gurley, AL

Comments: I have fished all of these Wacky Jig Heads. While I really liked them at first, I have discovered that the hooks are not, in my opinion, strong enough. Several of the hooks were slightly straigtened when I remover them from fish in the 3-5 lb. range. I don't think I would trust them to hold a large fish.

From:Ron: Nacogdoches,TX

Comments:These are sweet! In ultra clear water, these shine like no other bait. I tried shaky head worms, senkos, jerk baits, sweet beavers...nothing. Tied on a Jackall Weedless Wacky Jig with a Jackall flick shake worm, slaughtered the bass. Only problem I had was going through so many worms!

From:Kevin: Cedar Rapids, IA

Comments:Not a lot of people know about this but this is a really good bed fishing bait because the worm stands up and is easy to eat.

From:Jesse: Phoenix, AZ

Comments: Tried the 1/16 ounce and The 1/8 ounce weedless jig heads and I absolutely love the action these jigs give to a trick worm. I ran out of the jackal worms so i tried the trick worm with the jigs and absolutely waxed the fish with This set-up! These jigs can handle just about any size bass that comes along. Great Product I Highly Recomend It!! it flat catches fish.
